My High School buddy, Greg Capullo , has been given the honor of drawing the artwork for a relaunch of the DC Comics Batman series and I told him that I would promote his stuff whenever I can. We both wanted to be comic artists growing up but he actually got to 'live the dream". If you haven't bought a comic book in 30 years , think about buying this series and let Robin save the day!

I'm a big comic book fan and collect the artwork now rather than the comics, but will be buying the batman relaunch. I'll add the link on my site if that's OK. Comic book artist was probably second on my list behind being in a band. I was cynical of the DC 52 relaunch as just a money making exercise [which it probably is in part] but I have heard from several other people [comic book geeks] that it is worth buying into a number of the series. This will be one for me, a 'batman' for lfe, I'll post up one of my favourite pieces later. Pat

Dan Here's one of my favourite pieces. It's a big piece but nicely drawn, although I think the perspective is a bit skew in places. The second piece is more linked to UK comic and TV geeky stuff

My friend Greg says he wasn't very happy with his artwork on the 1st and after seeing his pencils for Issue #4 ,I can't wait to see the finicshed project. I'm trying to see if I can get something original from him. Dan

Dan I wish I was that good! No, to fill the gap in collecting Tull through he lean years I reverted to my childhood comic books and started to collect a few bit of comic art. the first is a signed Warner Bros lithograph Mrs Q bought m for my 40th. (far too many years ago now) The second is an original piece called "Thunderbird 3 is go" by a great UK artist called Nick Page. I can only aspire to be hat good..
