Does anyone remember this show from the late sixties, maybe around 1969 or 1970? About the aliens who had the crooked pinky fingers (I think it was their pinkies), and when they died, they would disintegrate and then glow. The hero was always trying to convince others that the aliens had invaded earth, but nobody would believe him...until later on in the series, I think.

Loved it a a kid, Roy Thinnes starred; a lonely road, a deserted diner and a man too tired for sleep.

I heard they were going to do a mini-series remake at some time, in the 90's I think, but never got to hear anymore about it.

That was a great opening. I remember being really scared watching that show as a nine or ten year old. It was really a good series, with a lot of guest stars.

I think there was some kind of a remake with Roy Thinnes, I'll have to look into that.

"The Invaders" was a great show! Perhaps it wasn't as psychologically deep as some series are now, but it came from an era when shows were fun. I wasn't alive when it first aired, but I collected VHS tapes of it when they were put out, albeit from a cheap home video company, in the 1980s.

It had atmsophere, and Roy Thinnes grinding his teeth to show sweaty determination was always enjoyable to watch. :)

I watched this show from the beginning and thought it was the coolest show at night.

This has similarities to "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" from the 50's.

Yeah, it was a great show. That music...and the crooked fingers!

There was a remake in the 90s with Roy Thinnes reprising his role.
