My 3rd Tull Show "Songs From The Wood" / "Repeat The Best of Jethro Tull Vol II" Tour 1977 November 23 / Greensboro, North Carolina My future wife got to see Tull for the first time. Still together after 34 years. Thank you Mrs. JTull07 for holding up my fold out poster from that performance. Check it out : Pics from the show! http://thejethrotullboard.proboards.com/....lay&thread=2104
Nice Jim! And how nice is Mrs JTull07 to do that for you. Hopefully you didn't ask her to stand in poison ivy!
I used to think it was Poison Oak. It is Virginia Creeper instead. David Gilmour has some in his artwork. Is Virginia Creeper Poisonous?:
Since Virginia creeper is one of the plants mistaken for poison ivy, many people wonder if it is "poisonous" in the sense that poison ivy is poisonous. The sap flowing through Virginia creeper vines does contain oxalate crystals, which can be an irritant for a small percentage of people. If you're unsure as to whether you're one of those people, don't touch Virginia creeper, since the result of contact could be a nasty skin rash. Nor should you eat Virginia creeper berries.

Warning: The following images are not for the squeamish!
My 4th Tull Concert started in a bad way. The ASSHOLE that took our tickets did THIS! 1982 October 6 / Charlotte, North Carolina Obviously he was not a Tull Fan but instead a lowlife piece of SHIT ! ( I know it's been 30 years but if I ever run into this guy, I'll break his ticket grabbing/tearing fingers and stick them up his ticket grabbing/tearing ass.) Oh where was I ? ...... At least the performance was awesome and my camera was not confiscated! Broadsword Tour Rocks! Pics from the Show! Check it out : http://thejethrotullboard.proboards.com/....lay&thread=2105

My 5th Tull Concert
Rock Island Tour
1989 November 4 / Richmond, Virginia I got this backstage pass years later at a record convention. It took me 3 1/2 hours to get to Richmond and I stayed at the Red Roof Inn. This was the first Tull gig I ever went solo and loved every minute! Fortunately my wife did not mind. I was on my own Rock Island.

My 7th Tull Concert
25th Anniversary Tour
1993 August 24th / Raleigh, North Carolina This show was special. After meeting Randy Drosche (Ian Impersonator), I was introduced to Martin Barre, Dave Pegg, and Andy Giddings! Never before had I met anyone from Tull in person. I sat with them while Procol Harum was playing with Matthew Pegg on Bass. My 2nd show, by this time I had collected all Tull releases and was well versed in all songs and was ready! Most of what I heard that night was not on any records!! Loved every second! The day the tickets went on sale I ditched school and went down to the box office and bought six tickets. There were only a handful of people in line. I have NO memory of Head Hands and Feet, someone played but I guess I wasn't paying much attention.
This was taken that night and I made it into a poster that hangs on my office wall today Darin Cody

My 3rd Show Sent for this thru the mail with a money order, 4 tickets, great floor seats for the Forum. What a show no matter what critical response or opinions about APP those were sold out shows. In one year they went from the 1/4 page ad for TAAB to the full page for APP that re-appeared when they announced the added shows Darin Cody

My 4th show, 1 of 4 (nights) stubs, Again acquired through the mail with a money order NOTE: the Section Row Seat and compare to my 73 stub......My girlfriend and I had the same seats as the APP show (she has the other stub) I don't know how this happened because I dont think the forum was keeping records in those days or these!!! 2 out of 18,000 and something! Another full page, before the other 2 shows were added The film I shot from my seat
On the fourth night I was usered into the "Tull Ready" room backstage to give this to Ian while he re-strung his 3 Martin guitars. I also met Jeffery and Martin there. All were dressed as in the MU poster. I spent about a month drawing this before the show and it served its purpose....getting me backstage to meet Ian! So 75 was a good year for me as a Tull fan....

My 6th show (excluding multiples) at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, a benefit for the LA Music Center. The plushest setting to date that I saw Tull. Great Boot from this show. Also attended the Anahiem show, source of the Trousersnakes boot, an even better boot, The program for the event.
I have most all of my stubs (not my 71 sadly!) from over the years and only missed a couple in the mid 2000s. I wont bore you with them all but thought these "relics" might be of interest to this great thread. Darin Cody
You can say that again, today I had to go into an Apple store to get my ipad checked out, I have the Passion Play 'dead ballerina' artwork/poster as my screen wallpaper. The girl 'Genius', aged 18 ish, festooned with lip and nose rings, looked at it and said very loudly, "Shit, how cool is that!", I suspect she then looked at me, the old man who had brought it in and couldn't quite work it out....still she asked for a link to the image so she could put it on her ipad.
