1972 Japanese Tull Ticket The Ministry of Info does not show this date, however they were in Japan this month. Osaka, Japan was on July 17th, 1972. This was 2 days later.

No need for you rush to defend it Jim, it wasn't a complaint. I just never saw or heard Ian out there railing against the ticket companies ala Metallica or Pearl Jam. No, Tull has never done a "supershow" like Floyd, or the Eagles or the "legendary" Rolling Stones (the most boring show on earth!) charging ungodly amounts to see the "final" show in a huge arena, orrrr U2 on just another tour.... The ticket prices Ian's getting are the same as Yes, Steely Dan, and a few others I paid for last summer. it's whatever the market will bear, and the artist will pull. LA by the way seems to, over the years, bear more,I'm sure NY pays more also. The reason my TAAB 2012 tickets are less then the 2010-11 shows is because I got in on the presale prices, which are reeally only the posted prices without all the padding. I've never sat one out over the price. This year will be somewhere around 36 or 37th show. Not quite the 100's that some here have but I'm still there, I might even buy a shirt this year.....I've never owned one. Darin
Believe me Darin, no one's shoes squeek louder than mine. If I had gone to more shows over the years, my wife would have freaked. She has her priorities too, and I always walk a thin line. I consider myself Frugal not Cheap. Let's pick you out a new shirt:

My Brother's Tull Ticket 1997 November 7 / The Joint - Hard Rock Hotel Las Vegas, Nevada My Brother was working in Vegas and wanted to hang out one night. His short attention span did not help him understand what a great concert Tull is. He just wanted to meet the Ladies at the show. He ain't heavy, he's my Brother.

Tull ticket prices as Darin said it what that market area will pay. The Boston, New York, area pay some of highest on the east coast, on the west coast it is LA area. I do however think that depending on which band determines there price as the promoter I am sure has a lot to do with establishing the ticket price for every group

A surprising and symptomatic turnout when you consider the factors that enveloped the evening: first Jethro Tull acted for the second time in just a few months and, on the other, his performance was produced along with the opening act of Camel. A few classical sometimes very difficult, however, this is but one to which there is danger that the nose wrinkling. Although Andy Latimer (thin, tall, peaked cap and leader of Camel), do not. Referring to Watching me, watching you, (one of the pieces of the latest album of Jethro Tull), Ian Anderson had said that the feeling claustrophobic thinking that people are caught constantly observed by the public. In the end it seems that in his country retreat, surrounded by calves, Ian Anderson has solved the dilemma based deaf to the demands choreography that often accompany the myths of rock-based and offer a simple show in which whole show is based on the five musicians. In this sense, the few gags that followed were an everyday until embarrassing: Davis Pegg, bassist, had disappeared from the stage. Anderson called him repeatedly. Pegg appeared with visible signs of being sick. Currently an assistant stage, all in black, came with a huge metal garbage can. With all the respectfulness of the world lifted the lid and Pegg, as if it needed time, he vomited.
In another moment of the concert the trash cans were again major part of the show. It was when all the musicians had disappeared one by one were getting dressed as tramps. They began to dig three large buckets full of debris, until each found an instrument: Anderson and Barre a mandolin and drummer (fresh from Magna Carta) some drums. They sat on a bench that had been placed there and started the acoustic rendition of what would become the powerful Pussy willow. Then when it came Watching me, watching you, Ian Anderson agreed, for the first time, the stage presence of anyone other than the public. The single, low-flash of white light, confronted the issue pursued by a doctor, white coat, which surprisingly was multiplying. Thanks on my part. Have come to light a quantity of memories in my mind, seeing the newspaper clippings. Also I'v followed the Tour, and it is impossible to forget the entry by Ian on stage, holding the Broadsword on the notes of the song. Wonderful ... a tear ... M.
