Excellent and some unknown songs by me you've posted today, Erin & Dan. Thanks a lot for this windy journey. Erin, Catch the wind by Donovan was already posted, anyhow it's so delighting to listen to it back. Dan, Dylan's Blowin' in the Wind was too obvious though it had to be posted someday . I'm still expectin' your Weathercock windy proposal to be posted .
Led Zeppelin - The Rain Song. Dazzling.
These are the seasons of emotion and like the winds they rise and fall This is the wonder of devotion - I see the torch we all must hold. This is the mystery of the quotient - Upon us all a little rain must fall.

Amazingly The Stairway was holding some windy references too.
Your head is humming and it won't go, in case you don't know, The piper's calling you to join him, Dear lady, can you hear the wind blow, and did you know Your stairway lies on the whispering wind.
I recall very good listening this song totally stoned in a hippy bar called "Sueños" (Dreams) of my town late in 70's, it's fairly hard to forget that exciting experiences, isn't it?. As you're so far checkin' most of best rock songs own all kind of weather references, I wonder if it did so often happen dependin' on the mood of the moment as the songwriter was writtin' the song about.
Dan, Dylan's Blowin' in the Wind was too obvious though it had to be posted someday . I'm still expectin' your Weathercock windy proposal to be posted .
O.K. I'll throw a Weathercock remix in here.."When the leaves spin from October and whip around your tail,..did you shake from the blast-did you shiver through the gale?"
I think it would be a great idea to add a different subject each month..maybe we can list some suggestions for March and continue Serge's great idea..
That's a great idea. Sometime I like us to one about guns.
Great idea Paul, the thread is yours, decided for March . My first contribution is ready :
We all came out to montreux On the lake geneva shoreline To make records with a mobile We didn’t have much time Frank zappa and the mothers Were at the best place around But some stupid with a flare gun Burned the place to the ground Smoke on the water, fire in the sky
Dan, finally you did add "Weathercock", an absolute Top Ten song of the whole posted so far here about winds.

Dear Prudence, open up your eyes Dear Prudence, see the sunny skies The wind is low, the birds will sing That you are part of everything Dear Prudence, won't you open up your eyes?

"No Quarter"
Close the door, put out the light. You know they won't be home tonight. The snow falls hard and don't you know? The winds of Thor are blowing cold. They're wearing steel that's bright and true They carry news that must get through.
