Actually, this is the first song that came to mind when I saw this thread...an old pop song entiled, "Windy" by The Associations:

And more recently, the tune used by 7-Up featuring Everybody Loves Raymond's, Brad Garrett:

How about Bob Dylan's "Blowin' In The Wind":

And for Paul, Bruce Springsteen version:

Excellent and some unknown songs by me you've posted today, Erin & Dan. Thanks a lot for this windy journey. Erin, Catch the wind by Donovan was already posted, anyhow it's so delighting to listen to it back. Dan, Dylan's Blowin' in the Wind was too obvious ;D though it had to be posted someday ;) . I'm still expectin' your Weathercock windy proposal to be posted ;D .

Led Zeppelin - The Rain Song. Dazzling. ::)

These are the seasons of emotion and like the winds they rise and fall
This is the wonder of devotion - I see the torch we all must hold.
This is the mystery of the quotient - Upon us all a little rain must fall.

Amazingly The Stairway was holding some windy references too. :-/

Your head is humming and it won't go, in case you don't know,
The piper's calling you to join him,
Dear lady, can you hear the wind blow, and did you know
Your stairway lies on the whispering wind.

I recall very good listening this song totally stoned in a hippy bar called "Sueños" (Dreams) of my town late in 70's, it's fairly hard to forget that exciting experiences, isn't it?. ::)
As you're so far checkin' most of best rock songs own all kind of weather references, I wonder if it did so often happen dependin' on the mood of the moment as the songwriter was writtin' the song about. ???

Don't stop postin' Tull partners. :-/

O.K. I'll throw a Weathercock remix in here.."When the leaves spin from October and whip around your tail,..did you shake from the blast-did you shiver through the gale?"

Great idea Paul, the thread is yours, decided for March ;D . My first contribution is ready ;D :

We all came out to montreux
On the lake geneva shoreline
To make records with a mobile
We didn’t have much time
Frank zappa and the mothers
Were at the best place around
But some stupid with a flare gun
Burned the place to the ground
Smoke on the water, fire in the sky

Dan, finally you did add "Weathercock", an absolute Top Ten song of the whole posted so far here about winds. :P

Dear Prudence, open up your eyes
Dear Prudence, see the sunny skies
The wind is low, the birds will sing
That you are part of everything
Dear Prudence, won't you open up your eyes?

Come on folks, join the caravan of winds ::)

And this goes for the Dead's fans on this Tullboard:

Chorus
Oh, the wind blows cold
On the trail of the buffalo
Oh, the wind blows cold
In the land of the Navajo
In the land of the Navajo

Think of, Look sharp, the windy reference is dwellin' in every Top Rock Song ready to disclose it for us :-/

"No Quarter"

Close the door, put out the light.
You know they won't be home tonight.
The snow falls hard and don't you know?
The winds of Thor are blowing cold.
They're wearing steel that's bright and true
They carry news that must get through.
