I came across this footage by accident on the stevehoffman.tv forum ( http://www.stevehoffman.tv/forums/showthread.php?t=275572&page=18 ), it's 4 minutes long, shot from the front row and very clear. It's not synced, though, the soundtrack being bits of the studio recording. It can be seen, though, that it spans through the end of side 1, with bits of the news-reading and what is maybe a second of side 2.

Just watched it, thanks for the link, nice to revisit those memories.
Looks like the missing non-rabbit makes an appearance, All others are simply impostors. ,
I just love rabbits and non-rabbits too. Why can't I see ones like her out in the woods? Do these wonderful creatures live in the U.K. only?

Not all non-rabbit's look like this, I hear that they do tend to go off a bit in middle-age, so don't be fooled, look for the Tull Board branding mark......The mark of quality.

I will be restoring this original film from the reels. (along with other bands) for the filmer. I will eventually be able to add sound to the 72 brick footage and get a much better capture of the film.

I saw the tour in June 1972, this film brings back memories of how completely over the top the band was, pure energy power and precision. I guess I can appreciate that there's a 2012 TAAB tour, but there could be absolutely no comparison to the 1972 show when TAAB was fresh and REAL. Ian Anderson was like a wild animal loosed on stage, today he can barely sing. I think I'll keep the memory of what I saw and heard and felt 40 years ago.
Thanks so much for your efforts to enhance this film of what was the best stage performance I have ever seen.

Nice! That was my first major concert. I remember that the concert started very, very late. Like about an hour. Roadies in capes kept coming off and on the stage fiddling with stuff. Suddenly the capes flew off and there was the band! I was not where near the first row.

Thanks to Via Lila for sharing this with us. Finnaly got this transferred to where i'm happy enough with it. You need to change your youtube setting to HD 1080 though for much better picture. Small clips but very cool film!

DIFFICULT JOBS DONE WELL! Nice work Erin, The stills are a good solution to the problem of some very short clips, so instead of it sounding like the needle skipping across a record, a person gets some continuity.....There's a LOT of work there. Great to be able to see some of those bits of yester-year come to life. You did a yeomans work, you should be proud. Darin Cody

Thanks Darin! Very glad you like it. We both know how uncooperative this particular film has been. Thank you also for lending your advice and opinion on the test runs. For a while I thought I would never get it finished. While not perfect I think many cuts look really nice and can live with it. What a band! Ian's performances were jaw dropping back then!

Thanks again prompter for discovering this. The filmer "Via" is blown away by the results compared to her original transfer. She has now informed me that her seats were not "front row" but rather she was right against the stage with her 8mm camera. They let teenage girls do that back then!

I dream of finding such footage. This is classic early USA brick tour! The Martin/Barrimore stuff kills me.
