Here are two excellent ex-Yugoslavian groups from my hometown.
'Time' was a supergroup assembled from top jazz and rock musicians whose original line-up featured a flute/piano player (whose flute work can be heard around the 4.30 mark in this track, the closer of their eponymous début album from 1972).
'Drugi način' featured duelling flutes, as is finely represented in this short, but moody tune from their 1975 record. They were also the opening act for Tull at their concert in Zagreb in early 1975.
let's answer my dear friend from Zagreb with one Serbian very nice group, called Galija. Greetings from Belgrade enjoy and this is image of lead singer, songwriter, composer and founder of band

A very nice group indeed, and a great song, too! That acoustic intro has always reminded me of Tull's "Dun Ringill", but I think it predates it for a year or so (?). Thanks for the link, many greetings from Zagreb!

actually, that song is from same year as Dun Ringill originally. but version i have posted is from 1990. Galija have many very interesting songs, not all have flute, but here's few more of my favorites:
not to forget, Time is one of my favorite Croatian groups and Dado Topic perhaps finest author. My favorite would be Makedonija.. how nicelly they make quinta with vocals
