 "Tullfanagrams"
« Thread Started on Feb 2, 2010, 12:23pm »

We're all such serious thinkers here, so I thought we needed a fun new game, although this one requires some thinking too! The idea is to come up with "Tullfanagrams," i.e., take the letters from a Tull song and rescramble them to form different words. An example of this would be:

Song : NOTHING TO SAY
Tullfanagram : THIN NOSY GOAT

Some Rules:

1) Every letter of the original song must be used.
2) No additional letters may be added.
3) The Tullfanagram should have the same number of words
as the song itself, as in the above example. NOTE: This
one is not a strict rule.
4) None of the words in the Tullfanagram can be the same
as any of the words in the song title.
5) The reformed words must be actual English words. The
phrase does not have to make sense (although that
would be preferable), but it must consist of real words.

Have Fun!

Jeff

I hate word puzzles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Could never understand why my brain doesn't function in that manner.

I'll take Jeopardy over Wheel Of Fortune any day :D

Keep them coming though, it's fun seeing what other people's brains can do.

Tull Song : NORTH SEA OIL
Tullfanagram : LOINS ARE HOT
To totally trash any thin tatterings of a reputation I might have left:
BLUE SMITH: LUBE M THIS
Good night everybody!

Well, that's really not surprising. You know, with what you once said a long time ago about Bill's rather impressive..... proportions. :o

LOL! It's good to be able to sit around and laugh with your friends, even if it is virtual.
I think we need to plan to meet at an Atlantic City Casino during the off season (The Tropicano has some unreal off season rates!) and have a very, very informal kind of quasi-convention sort of thing.

So did I. Although there is a caveat stating it's not a strict rule. So your 'Tullfanagram' shall not be banished to the bad side of the railroad tracks, there in exile to languish until Vanna White graces it with another vowel or two.

Hey, Bob and Greg, nice job with those Tullfanagrams. The rule about same number of words is not a strict one, but bonus points if you can do it!

We must do this, Blue! There are quite a few board members from the area, and I'm sure it would be an absolute blast.

So who is up for it?
