 Q&A with Jonathan Noyce
« Thread Started on May 2, 2012, 5:07pm »

Ladies and Gentlemen,

We are pleased to announce another Q&A, this time with Former Tull and current Martin Barre's 'A New Day' Bassist Jonathan Noyce.

Jonathan has played with many diverse musical combos, as well as Tull, he has been involved with Gary Moore, The Divine Comedy and Archive.

Take some time out to get to know Mr Noyce a little better.

WOW I can not believe I did not see this Q and A section until now.. I must of lost my spectacles...

First off I would like to thank Jonathan for taking some of our questions..

My first one would be... Are you planning to play with Martin in any upcoming shows?

And my follow up question would be

Are you surprised with all of the fallout between Martin and Ian and do you think it will be a permanent split?

Lastly when will we see your solo work released as a CD or as downloads.

Thanks for your time...

Dear Jon,

hello from Germany!

I like the tracks from your "coolhunter" site. Is there a possibility to buy them? On CD? I can ´t find the album "leaven". I especially like the track "Everyone is here now part I". It reminds me (for example) of "Trentemoeller (e.g. "miss you"). Recommendations from you?

Through the "Divinities" Tour in 1995 you had an instrumental spot together with Doane Perry. It was great!!! I think part of it is shown on his website. On his site it is called "Balindians". Is there a proper recording of this track including you? Where to get?

Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

rainer

P.S: During the Martin Barre Tour in 1998 in Bamberg- Zapfendorf i got a signature from you for my niece who was a "Take That" fan. She was happy. Thanks!

Hi Jon,

Thanks for taking part in our Q&A.

If you had to come up with your most memorable touring gig and studio recording with Jethro Tull (that is PG rated of course) what would they be and why?

Also, some quickies:

Favorite Tull studio track (with you on bass)?

Favorite Tull track played live?

Thank you!
Paul from New Jersey
