Bratranci Veverkove is a Tull Tribute band from the Czech Republic named after two 19th century Czech cousins who were farmers/musicians who invented, or helped to invent, the modern plough. One of them apparently had corresponded with the real Jethro Tull's grandson in order to obtain a copy of Mr. Tull's famous book, Horse-hoeing Husbandry! There are quite a few videos of this band, but let's start with these two. The first, Back to the Family, was from an outdoor festival where people continually passed in front of the band, but it did not obviously did not distract them from doing a highly energetic version of this great Tull classic. This second one, Wondring Aloud, is from a different gig, and it's a beautiful rendition. More to follow from this excellent and very prolific Tull tribute band. In the meantime, check out their interesting and informative website: veverky.jethrotull.cz/Jeff

Thank you Jeff for introducing our band, I much appreciate that. The Veverka cousins were real persons (in Bohemia = Austria/Hungary), and they really invented the modern plough in middle europe. But for they poor education, they didnt realize that they need some patent on the plough, they were only village peasents. Their idea was stolen. Its not really true that they read a book of Tull, thats only our joke and also some other info on the web is little mystification We like the music of Tull very much and we play it mostly for our pleasure. If someone interested here you can find more videos from our gigs: www.youtube.com/JeffreyVeverkaEnjoy! regards Jeffrey Veverka

I really enjoy your videos, and will post more of them soon. To be honest, I was having a little trouble separating the fact from the humorous fiction on your website, and although I was able to verify the story about the two cousins, I fell for your joke about them corresponding with the Real Tull's grandson! Anyway, glad to have you with us and please do stop by for a chat whenever you feel the urge. I guarantee that you will find a lot of humorous material here as well! Jeff
