I do a bit of artwork to while away the hours now and then and so I thought I'd add a couple of drawings, so here's a couple of mine - mainly pencil sketches, my paintings tend to be a bit big and personal so I limit myself to only showing my sketches. I collect comic art and love pin up art of the 30's, 40's, 50's and 60's and have a small collection of pieces that I have started to do loosely called "Tull Women". So below you should see three old drawings of mine the first one is a graphite pencil copy of the BatB cover "elf" done around 1986 I think The second one is called "Salamander" and is graphite pencil coloured in photoshop as an experiment. The third one is called "Black Satin Dancer" and is graphite pencils. from the Broadsword and the Beast cover by Pat KentTull Women - Salamander by Pat KentTull Women - Black Satin Dancer by Pat KentIf you can make it out my avatar is one called Michael Collins, Jeffrey and me.... These are excellent quizzkid/Pat. That's a real gift you have there!
Have you drawn any other Tull women? Pussy Willow? Miss Budapest? Hunting Girl? The old lady with a barrow standing by the harbour wall in Flying Dutchman?

Storm mokey, thanks for the comment - I do have a few others, Pussy willow, Grace, Hunting Girl and a few more I will try to dig them out, but they vary between finished sketches and roughs.

Great work Pat. You really have a gift - especially with the women. Thanks for sharing your work. Now I'll have to post my Broadsword drawing from many moons ago and totally embarrass myself.

Quizz, I love your drawings....great stuff and so many "Tull women" to choose from. It's amazing how Tull and females are so intertwined, not only the feminine characters in Tull, but also the women in our lives. Just about every girl I've ever dated has been affected, in one way or another, by my Tull-craze. Those who say Tull is "guy music" or "for teenage boys" are so ignorant. I guess they don't realize that Tull has legions of female Tull fans, and those Tull women tend to be even more fanatical than we Tull guys.

I've met many a guy who doesn't believe this.

My tattoo artist did the Broadsword tat on someone before. I saw a pic. He did a really great job. I almost got a Tull tat. I had three ideas in my mind the day of getting the tattoo. The tull one and two others. I ended up with a dragonfroggy. (Frog with wings)
Yes, I vote I wanna see Budapest girl =]

But yay, looking forward to the drawing with only t-shirt, pants and skin...

Jeff Thanks Jeff, Should be complete in a few days all things being equal! In the meantime here's the "long-legged Ring-mistress" from Sealion, by way of an excuse, it's a very rough sketch as I intend to do this as an acrylic colour image on board sometime.

So many smoking hot Tull babes to choose from. May I make my own request.? Miss Galilleo....okay, so it's a nude but might as well go all the way, and just think what you can have her doing with that telescope. Jeff

I'll see what I can do! I might have to run that one past the censors. I ddi one called "Quasars at the kissing gate" a while ago, but that might be a little racy for here if it was looked into too closely!

You must be thinking of some other Tull board. Here we encourage freedom of speech, thought and artistic expression. So, please, let's have a look at that Quasar one! Jeff P.S. Astronomy is a very.....sensual song....and very conducive to artwork.

"Tee-shirt, pants and skin"The day job and a few commissions has meant this is only going to be a quick sketch for now. Not sure if I have done "her" justice as I think I need to rework the hands, the leg positions and fill in a bit more of the background, but if I didn't post it today then it might be a week or so before I get time to add anything else to flesh it out a bit more. Hope you like it. "It was a hot night in Budapest" by Pat Kent

Jeff "Quasars" was a mixed media piece I tried mucking about using a photographic base image, photo-shopped, then printed in a negative form onto art paper and then reworked with a white pencll, it isn't that explicit, but I'll send you a link to that one via PM, it isn't that good but will serve as a base for a more detailed painting sometime. It was part of a set I did using Constellations as the theme. "Astronomy" and the "Miss Gallieo" character was the inspiration behind attempting them in the first place. The Milky Way by Pat Kent

Awesome Budapest girl. She definitely looks like a runner. Love the fact that her Tshirt is a Tull shirt. And it just has the feel of the mid-late 80's, so that's perfect...

Thanks Holly, this one and a few of the others above are quick sketches and so are a bit rough; Hopefully will post a rough of Ms Gallileo later today for Jeff, although I'll probably send it to him first to get it vetted!

That's right, I have to check to see whether it's sexually explicit......enough! Seriously, Pat there's no need, I trust your judgment. Nothing wrong with nude or suggestive drawings, especially when they are rendered as conceptions of Tull songs. Jeff
