And for extra credit, this fill-in-the-blank lyric quiz also can be filled in using one word or several:
A distant place for bussing is ___________.

The doorway of the stars, between Blandford Street and Mars? Hi, Bob, nice to see you back on the board, in such a big way! Always good to hear from a fellow Long Island Tull fan. Unfortunately, that's not the correct answer, as the place I'm thinking of is much further off than that. These latest lyric quizzes are the most devilish yet, I must say, and this one is not what you think! Jeff

A distant place for bussing is a thousand miles away. Orion? Brian. No, Brian, however you are on the right track. (I'm not certain if you are on the right track for the right reason, though.) No prizes for this one, but there are a batch of other contests, with many goodies to give away for winners, coming soon! Jeff

Are we talking about a bus as in a mode of transport or a bus as in a stereo left/right? lol. No idea, Jeff. This is a hard one. ...or are we talking about an air-bus as in Far Alaska? or perhaps a distant place for bussing is with one foot in the graveyard and the other on the bus - then again, if the bus was actually parked RIGHT outside the graveyard that might be no distance at all! lol. Brian.

um... kilometers from nowhere ? thank you! No, because no reference to bussing in that song! However, stormmonkey was definitely on the right track with the location he guessed. Another hint: Read over the question several times, checking for spelling! Jeff

A distant place for bussing is quasar at the kissing gate.

A distant place for bussing is quasar at the kissing gate. Nice, Brian, that was probably the hardest one, because of the two meanings of the word "bussing", one of which could be a variant of "busing," as in transportation, and the other a synonym for "kissing," as you recognized. And you got it despite what may be a slight flaw in the question. Originally, I thought that the phrase "kissing gate" referred to some distant constellation or area of outer space where the quasar was located. But just yesterday I realized that "the kissing gate" could refer to a place in the observatory instead, since the entire song is really quite a romantic one, where the astronomer is trying to seduce "Miss Galilleo."
