Have you ever met guitar legend Martin Barre? Were you lucky enough to get a photograph with him?
If so, here is the place for you to post pictures of yourself with Martin! I've got a few (two, possibly three) that I will dig out and post up here shortly.
It will be fun to see how many we can come up with!

After meeting Ian on that infamous night after the Catfish show, we also met Doane and Martin. Here we are with Martin in the cinderblock basement hallways of the Nassau Coliseum, painted Islander white, orange and blue, with Martin's nameplate posted outside his dressing room: For some reason we didn't get a picture with Doane and Heather even though we were talking to them after the show and it was Heather who had arranged for us to get the backstage passes in the first place. (I showed Doane my 1970 copy of Downbeat magazine featuring Ian on the cover, and in the photos accompanying the feature piece, Doane pointed out Jon Bonham watching Clive play drums from behind the stage in a photograph taken when Tull and Zeppelin were on tour together.) I've got a couple of other photos of "Martin and Me" which I will be posting soon. Anyone else have any? I know Charlie's got at least one..... Jeff

Here, an emaciated nonfatman poses with Martin, Rob (sporting a very Ian-esque beard) and Mrs. Nonfatman in a pub near the venue, after an April 2002 show in Washington, D.C. We had met Ian a few minutes earlier, as he was leaving the venue. Martin looks like he was surprised and maybe even annoyed at being photographed, but I can assure you that he was very cordial to us before and after this was snapped: Jeff
