So, we're at Mulligans Pub the other night for some drinks with our friends from the NYC-area Jethro Tull Meetup Group, I'm talking to Jim, and Mike is talking to Jill.
I have no idea what Mike and Jill are talking about when suddenly, for reasons unknown to me, Mike inquires: "Jeff, are there any Tull songs that mention turtles?" Naturally, Passion Play comes to mind, but although there is a Hare, there is no tortoise or turtle.
So, we're thinking and drawing a blank before I finally conclude: "Mike, I think that turtles might be one of the few members of the animal kingdom that are not mentioned in any of Ian's songs."
But was I right? Is it true that there are no Tull-turtles in the entire catalogue? Let's see if anyone can find one!
Jeff
P.S. The judges will accept Tull-tortoises as a correct response as well.
