TM: The "item of interest" (which no one mentioned) is the deliberate positioning of the band members giving emphasis to two of them, Ian included. This is certainly not happenstance...

Michael Crowe: Ah, that. Well, the kid has been with Ian a long time now, and there's that fatherly thing of having taken the boy in and spurring his career. Give yourself ten points and a cookie. The thing is behind Door #3.

TM: True. It's old news now, in fact so old I'm only going to take 5 points and a Saltine.

Michael Crowe: I see. Well, this is the Obama era after all. Good show.

Michael Crowe: Oh, who is the guy hidding behind David in the banner party photo? Two points and a Ritz for the answer.

Nonfatman: Awesome Homo Erraticus toga party, Paul....you know I'm putting that on FB!
Apr 12, 2014 13:30:41 GMT -5
TM: @ Mike - Ah good catch. That is actually Jeff who was attempting to photobomb my shot of the boys in the band!
Apr 12, 2014 16:44:15 GMT -5
TM: @ Jeff - I'm sure you'll come up with something good.

Biggles: Here's a hint.. he's holding the family jewels.

Michael Crowe: I was thinking the hidden face behind David might be Martin pulling the old "Paul Is Dead" McCartney trick.

Morthoron: I thought it was Captain Beefheart, like the time he held the fish head in front of his face for the cover of Trout Mask Replica.

Biggles: I thought I'd wait until the reviews came in on the board before I made a purchase of HE. And just as I thought, nothing is clear, or dare I say.. Nothing Is Easy?

TM: It's a typical IA album for me as it has taken some time to appreciate. But it is a mixed bag. Some songs are pretty good, but most every song contains something I don't like, and then are some downright clunkers.

Michael Crowe: TM - Now that you've given "Toga" a new image, I think it's time for a new banner. Ian as a Bombay male prostitute is getting a little hard to bear. The rest look like actors in a gay review of The Hobbit. Check please.

Biggles: How 'bout one dedicated to the Mick (McMick) Abrahams era?
Apr 18, 2014 19:55:49 GMT -5
TM: Nice idea Bigs. A tribute to the original band sounds good. When I get back from red-rock country I'll pop one out.

Misteman 4: after hearing about half of "homo erraticus" ..have to say it is quite good. lyrics one can sink their teeth into. however for me "per ferox adventus" is a masterpiece and one of ian's best songs ever.
