Personally, I can't wait for the "Thick as a Brick" tour. Even though Ian's voice is failing, his flute and acoustic guitar still add up to a great night's entertainment.

You have all my solidarity. I could hardly live without at least one J.T concert a year. In 2010 i been in four: two concerts in my country and two in U.K. Now i'm waiting to attend to the show in the Manchester Cathedral in december. M.

This is definitely a show that I won't be missing. I expect this will draw a ton of Tull fans (even those who may have not yet dusted off their records). I guess the response with most people on this forum is good evidence I'm really interested to see what he's going to do with this. I hope they get creative with it. Of course they can't stray TOO far from the original (since it's sort of a thing of nostalgia for a lot of people) but I'm guessing that if he wants to do it again, he's at least going to want to make it interesting.

I sincerely hope that they will "go north" on the Thick as a Brick tour and show us Scandinavians some love! Still no Denmark venues on the tour list on the (never updated) Jethro Tull website...

Jethro Tull's Ian Anderson to Norway 28 July 2012 www.canalstreet.no/en/Program-2012/I got the information about the concert 1 February 2012, from the lady in my local fish store... ;D She had already got a ticket. Tickets have been available since late autumn 2011. 29 July is my birthday. I don't see any reason to see Jethro Tull's Ian Anderson 28 July.

Following the high demand, another concert was scheduled the day after. At the concerts, Ian Anderson and his band mates will play the album Thick As A Brick, which hasn’t been performed in its entirety since released in 1972, visir.is reports. The audience will also be able to enjoy part of the sequel, Thick As A Brick 2, which is in the making, as recently announced. According to midi.is, the show will feature a more theatrical production with video and additional musicians. Jethro Tull last performed in Iceland in 2009 when tickets sold out in less than a day. For tickets and other events, go to midi.is. ESA

Jethro Tull Concert in Iceland Sells Out in Seven Minutes Wow, that sounds like something that would have happened when Tull was at the peak of their popularity. I bet there was a lot of bummed Tull fans in Iceland. It will be interesting to see if this album charts at all. I don't think the Christmas Album did, but from the sounds of it, this one might have a chance

Yeah I was wish Jethro Tull would come to Ireland. I got to see them once last year and I'm afraid I'll only ever get to see my favourite band once.

www.examiner.com/classic-rock-music-in-paterson/ian-anderson-has-new-tour-album-approachingIan Anderson will be embarking on a Thick as a Brick Two tour starting in mid-April, but he will be in Europe throughout most of the summer. Thankfully, Anderson will reach the US starting September 18th in Florida through October 7th in Newark, NJ. Although specific dates and locations have not been officially announced, there's a rumour for a second leg of US tour dates in October and November in the West Coast and Midwest.

Maybe not in my South Jersey location, but I'll take Philly.
Better yet I'd travel up to Jones Beach, NY (on Long Island) to see Tull again. Best shows I've seen from them there!

Maybe Ian can get Johnny Rotten to guest vocal on Aqualung.
