I used to work with a guy who was big Pink Floyd fan. So when Divi sion Bell came out he bought me a copy saying "I always buy my friends who are music fans a copy of Floyd, so when Tull comes out with a new album you can buy me a copy." I thought that was fair enough. Except he got fired before Tull came out with anything new. But anyway, do you usually buy Tull or Ian albums and give them as gifts? I must have given out 8 or 9 copies of Divinities.

Hi Paul. I suppose that buy CD,DVD or J.T records to do a gift is J.T fan's habit.I did it many times all over the years.Sometime i lend but i never want them back. But sometime,it happen, they come given back.I'm simply very glad if the artists i love are appreciated. :'(I have to replace,of course... ???At the last show i have been in my country a friend of the Italian Forum told me he never heard Rupi's Dance,i had it in my bike,so i gifted it to him.I'm planning i'll have to order 4 or 5 CD,s and DVD,s next Christmas. In this optical,Ian had an huge idea realizing The Christmas Album...

Yes, I have given several copies of Divinities and SLOB as gifts, and even more copies of the Christmas album because it was such a perfect holiday gift. Funny you mention the Division Bell because I once saw a review of it where the critic compared it very unfavorably to RTB, as the two albums came out at around the same time. And I would agree with that critic, because I bought Division Bell and it sucked. Even more boring than most of Pink Floyd's stuff. Other than Animals and Dark Side of the Moon, I never really cared for them. Jeff
