Here's another one of those sensitive subjects that we dare talk about. What do you all make of the Tim Tebow? Does it bother you when he thanks his lord and savior after every win or are you cool with that? Is thanking your lord and savior at the expense of others wrong? Does the lord and savior even care about American football? Should he be a little upset with his lord and savior since he can't throw for shit?

Tim Tebow is a nice guy and good quarterback. His team has decided to play harder now that he is the starter. If he prays before or during the game, that's fine. I do the same thing in the 4th quarter with 3 seconds on the clock. ;D ;D When he asks the Lord for winning he must also accept what happens when he loses. Tebowing is a catchy phrase that will eventually be replaced by something else. Politicians should not be Tebowing.

If Jesus saves, well he'd better save himself.

With all the player's negative press lately, this is a breath of fresh and role model air! Roots down in the wet clay, branches glistening.

I am wondering, since this is the land of the free and the home of the brave, if the same people who praise Tebow would be up in arms and complain to the TV network if a Muslim player spent as much time praying to Allah on the field as Tebow does.

He'd probably last a little longer than a christian soccer player on the Syrian or Iranian team that did something along the same lines. Have a good Christmas and Holiday season Darin

From my experience, Christians are usually intolerant of other religions, especially Islam. What a shame, as they seem to invoke the name of Jesus, but their actions demonstrate otherwise. And the graven image, you know who.

He's not the kind you have to wind-up on Sundays.

Paterson, NJ is home to many Muslims. In fact quite a few of the 9/11 terrorists lived in Paterson or spent a decent amount of time there. They purchased, or leased their vehicles from a Jeep dealer literally 10 minutes from my home.

Tebow is a great role model, I'm not a religious person but I do believe in God. He has won at all levels of football and is a leader among men. It's a feel good story, which is better than most of the news these days. I hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday season. Cheers from Canada.

Wrestling legend "Stone Cold" Steve Austin said he will hand over ownership of "3:16" to Tim Tebow without so much as a forehand chop if the Denver Broncos quarterback can repeat last weekend's heroics when he faces the New England Patriots. Tebow made a grand claim on the Biblical digits after passing for 316 yards in the stunning overtime victory against the Pittsburgh Steelers and setting an NFL playoff record with 31.6 yards per completion. The performance recalled the "John 3:16" that the devout Christian wore as eye black during his college career, painted in tribute to one of his, and many other believers', favorite Bible verses. The passage reads, according to the New American Standard Bible, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life." Stone Cold went a different route during his WWE prime, establishing "Austin 3:16" to humiliate his foes with an invented verse. But Austin said he will surrender sporting ownership of the numbers if Tebow throws big at Gillette Stadium in the AFC divisional game Saturday night. "Austin 3:16 still rules," the wrestler told TMZ, but added, "If Tebow can throw for 316 yards again this weekend, then hell, he can have the numbers, and I'll have no problem with it. A guy named John was using it before me . . . so if Tebow can do it again, more power to him!" Austin said he wished Tebow "all the luck in the world" after being impressed with the young quarterback on and off the field. "I'm not a Denver fan, but Tim's a great role model for kids," he added.............article from Fox Sports ............................................................. Tebow 3:16
