"Threatened exit, stage left, laughing..." WTF? Blimey, well spotted, intentional or otherwise, it was bound to be analysed in this way sooner or later. The next line could also have similar inferences.

is this a veiled reference to MBs status or what happened to JT? or is it a bit fanciful reading too much into this line! ?

I found another pet peeve with this song. Ian pronounces Porshe wrong. The name is pronounced "porsh-a". Two syllables. No excuse Ee-on.

I just heard the new song ... I loved it! Very "Catfish"-esque flute stuff. Florian sounds a lot like Martin ... so it begs the question, why not use the real thing?

Maybe one costs a little less......and doesn't mind relearning old songs lower keys.....and playing Aquadidley......Just the first things that popped into my head. Darin

I've heard it was filmed behind the gasworks in Penge. You can tell from the shadows 'n' stuff. Cheers, Jioffe.

Ian said something about how its his solo album and that Jethro Tull is a more collaborative effort, which makes sense. I would just rather Florian sounded like Florian and not a Martin imitator.

Listening to the guitar work on "Banker Bets, Banker Wins" I thought on the contrary that Florian just sounds like him, I didn't hear much Martin-esque nuances in his playing. He plays what is right for the music, that's the thing he has in common with Martin. At the same time you could claim that John O'Hara plays or sounds like John Evans...

I know you guys talked about this a long, long time ago... damn nearly in the year one... but here is a little story for you: "One day a young Buddhist on his journey home, came to the banks of a wide river. Staring hopelessly at the great obstacle in front of him, he pondered for hours on just how to cross such a wide barrier. Just as he was about to give up his pursuit to continue his journey he saw a great teacher on the other side of the river. The young Buddhist yells over to the teacher, "Oh wise one, can you tell me how to get to the other side of this river"? The teacher ponders for a moment looks up and down the river and yells back, "My son, you are on the other side".
