Absolutely stunning show
highlight for me was meeting and shaking JHH hand before the show courtesy of Pat ( Cold Flame) and seeing JHH on stage during the side 1 / side 2 interval antics of TAAB 1

I've always loved Jeffrey not only because I saw all of the tours when he was the bass player (and the central purveyor of humor) and those were Tull's peak years, but also because he left the band at just the right time.
I can't think of that incredible 1972 TAAB tour without remembering the inimitable Jeffrey Hammond-Hammond-Hammond-Hammond diving about the stage in his green tails and boots. Very cool that he was there for the Manchester show!

some you tube clips
not really reflected in these , but on reflection Manchester was the best of the three gigs I attended. Possibly TAAB 1 was played better at sheffield ..but TAAB 2 was superb at Manchester
