The MFSL vinyl Aqualung is like having the loudness/bass boost button on all the time. I hated it, SOLD! MFSL Aqualung read more: www.stevehoffman.tv/forums/showthread.php?t=284348&highlight=Steve Hoffman said: If you want the DCC LP to sound like the MFSL LP, just push in the "loudness control" button on your Pioneer receiver. That way, at the touch of a button, you can have both versions on one LP. Save time and money. BTW - Mobile Fidelity Recordings - MFSL's Gregg Schnitzer is quoted as saying "For instance, I mastered Robin Trower "Bridge Of Sighs" and most of the Jethro Tull stuff for Chrysalis but you won't see any mention of us on the released product."

Just as good as the 2011 remix, to my ears.

I don't think I've heard any of these.
What I am interested in is how Ian tells about "how living in a Southern England farming community" inspired the lyrics to Songs from the Wood. Anyone know where I can find these liner notes? I only have the vinyl and I can't seem to find it on google.

He said something to that effect in SFTW press kit. I thought that I had posted it but I can not seem to find the thread. I will try and re post it along with the liner notes from the Mobile Fidelity CD and the EMI remastered, Ian might say something in there.

I'd love to have the Passion Play, Warchild and Songs From The Wood MFSL CDs. Are they available anywhere for reasonable prices, or am I looking at hundreds of dollars on Ebay or something?
