I hope someone might have some knowledge regarding this. I have tickets to the Mohegan Sun Arena this October 4th. It is a casino venue, and I am concerned that the show might be curtailed by 20+ minutes. I have been to casino shows before; the last time was in 2009 when Ian Anderson did his acoustic tour of the USA. That year, I saw two shows on consecutive nights, and the show at the Foxwoods casino was much shorter, with no interval and several songs missing from the previous night's set.
According to a friend of mine (and I have no proof of this) some casinos contract artists to perform shorter shows because they want patrons to get back out into the main halls earlier in the evening to gamble. Does anyone know if this is true?
My tickets to the Mohegan Sun read "Jethro Tull's Ian Anderson plays Thick as a Brick 1 & 2." I'm just hoping some tracks from TAAB2 don't get scrapped that night.

I wouldn't worry about it - it's in the arena, not one of the smaller clubs like the Wolf's den. I've been to quite a few concerts in the arena, none of them have ever been cut short or curfewed as far as I could tell. Maybe Foxwoods has different policies than Mohegan?

Thanks for the input; I like the venues at the two Connecticut casinos, by the way. They are very nice places to see shows, but I was just worried about the running time. Thanks again!
