July 15, 2012 Sant Feliu, Spain Festival Portaferrada (Espai Port)Well Jim, thanks for the excellent presentation of the Festival de Jazz de Sant Feliu, I'll try to summarize what happened with images and video, writing in English is difficult for me, I will say that we met about 50 Tullianos in Sant Feliu, thanks to Ian we had several backstage passes, almost all the backstage was tulliano! Ian did not bother to see our shirts with the name of Martin in the back, ya know, but joked sarcastically about Dee, I am going to reserve comment ... I must say that my location was privileged 1st line, which rather than benefit me to take good pictures I have injured because Ian does not allow the use of cameras during his performance, it is very hard on that, just 10 minutes to the photographers and press I got 3 warnings to photograph but I ignored all I could filming without problems and take some pictures I will not discover anything new, Great show with 2 encores My God and Locomotive Breath As I said a picture is worth a thousand words let's it!Sant Feliu de GuixolsMy backstageThe concert beginsStart the show Ian appearance on stage.Gradually I will upload the videos and photos of the concert The national television of Catalonia makes a report about the event: "The Jethro Tull legendary rock fills the Porta Ferrada Festival of Sant Feliu de Guixols"www.324.cat/noticia/1810333/ociicultura/El-rock-llegendari-de-Jethro-Tull-omple-el-festival-de-la-Porta-Ferrada-de-Sant-Feliu-de-Guixols

Great success in all the criticisms about the concert of Jethro Tull's Ian Anderson!Step to translate the article helped google translator because the length, can make corrections with a quote or through personal messageFESTIVAL DE LA PORTA FERRADA
Jethro Tull's Ian Anderson.
Espai Port, Sant Feliu de Guixols July 15Energy in a pure stateIan Anderson of Jethro Tull, takes forty-five years in the stage and does not smell of mothballsCarry forty-five years without setting off the smell of mothballs and has merit. A great merit who are not most good bands that were big time and now are just simple imitators of themselves. The Secret of Ian Anderson (Jethro Tull is he and he alone) is the energy that is able to distill and share on the stage, a pure energy that avoids any kind of nostalgia though, curiously, much of his work based on four decades of music behind him. On Sunday at the Festival of the Porta Ferrada Ian Anderson, about to turn 65, he returned to spread that positive energy with both hands in the audience that nearly filled the stands at the port of Sant Feliu de Guixols. There were many Boomers, of course, but also many young people who vibrate at the same rate at present. This time Anderson's bid had much more merit as it was to celebrate the fortieth anniversary of one of her most notable Thick as a Brick. The concert began with the full understanding of the actual disk drive, a single track undulating over forty minutes. In 1972 the small Little Minton looked around with early awareness of his eight years involved in what was then called progressive rock. Today his words still sound fresh and progressive and not afraid of anyone, quite the opposite. The review of Anderson and his new band (solid and powerful as many) was simply brilliant in all aspects but especially in the cool of melodies (you still owe much to medieval music) which does not pass the time. There were three quarters of an hour of pure instrumental virtuosity dominated throughout by the personal and communicative leader's flute. Followed, also played in full, Anderson's new album, Thick as a Brick 2, in which the same young man has already turned fifty and look at the world differently, a little more acidic, but with the pace and momentum of then. Finally, to round off a very long a (more than a quarter of an hour), which merged two of the most poignant of Aqualung: My God and Locomotive Breath. Ending on a high, sparks flew from Anderson's flute. The public, of course, cheering standing over more than deserved a more comforting shows that the same Ian Anderson was wrong when, in the late seventies, wrote that from too old to rock and roll: too young to die. ccaa.elpais.com/ccaa/2012/07/16/catalunya/1342468387_519199.html

Thank you for your comments Jim , very good photo! keep me Thanks Teacher!,I do not know the reason for the change, but is evident in the pictures, also sounded really good! From what I see, only my videos on the concert of Sant Feliu, are on youtube, I have not seen pictures in print or internet as I said earlier was very difficult to record and take pictures. It is said that television may have purchased the rights for Spain, to retransmit the concert on TV(San Javier is commented), maybe that's why security was very strict...Sant Feliu de Guixols Festival de Porta Ferrada 15/07/2012 Jethro Tull's Ian Anderson TAAB 2,Shunt And Shuffle, A Change Of Horses.

Well this post has been added to my 1st post on this concert, as perhaps some do not have noticed, I realize this post will be removed later, to keep the timing of the show. One can see that the images projected on the screen have subtitles in Spanish, is something to thank for much public who does not understand English, it is interesting to know if this will be done in different countries of the tour, in different languages. It only remains to thank this small at the same time great detail. Thanks Ian! Here you can clearly see the subtitlesEntrance hall: Espai Port (Sant Feliu de Guixols) shortly before the concert

Remy, what a lucky guys you were in Sant Feliu having My God as a second encore song on the setlist !!! . Might Ian punish us without after the sad events that took place during that embarrasing moment on the A Change Of Horses performance at San Javier venue? The mistery continues. Great your whole job on this thread and so on the Board. Thanks mate
