Rest up, Holly, and once you feel better, post away! That is, if you have the time, with those two little rug-rats and all....... Jeff I know! BTW I did respond to a couple posts yesterday, one of yours...but for some reason my posts didn't show up on the "new posts" feature thing I would complain to the board administrator if I were you. Hope you feel better soon.

I guess I never got around to thinking about asking back then. It was always late and I was mostly delirious. Okay, I'll take silly. God forbid I should ever get serious on you. I'm such a bore. You wouldn't know what to think. Anyway, hope you're feeling better today. I've got mono now. Bah. Fun. Lots of feeling sleepy and stuff. Totally fun with two lil ones!! So if I don't post a lot you all will know why! Remember when we totally quoted like every word of Broadsword or something? ha... Then you might have gotten semi-serious on me right, talking about religon and evolution and the Crowe-Magnon man...(not that I want to OPEN that can of worms!) Then there was the St. Patty day thread or my birthday thread saga...or something...that went on for like a million years. The Broadsword discussion was brought about by your feeling murky. I don't remember discussing religion but evolution sort of rings a bell because that led to moose parts which was funny. Gosh, you remember everything. No, don't worry, I won't even reopen that can of worms again, especially after being called a Crowe-Magnon. I quite liked the Patty Day thread because it ran for almost a year and we covered a lot of music and dance. Hmm, come to think of it, we did actually get serious there for a minute. How dare me. Speaking of dance, will you ever return to the stage again?

Speaking of dance, will you ever return to the stage again? I thought the Broadsword thing was brought on because I had just had my teeth filed down at the dentist because I was "long in the tooth" I remember the thought of having teeth filed made you shudder. I think it was around my birthday thread, it's when you first started talking to me, and I asked if I was still in trembling years of youth or already proceeded to the long murky middle age...and I remember the long in the tooth thing was definitely in there. Which reminds me, pertaining to the original subject...Beastie is meaningful because it reminds me of a running gag my best friend Jen and I have, about the song... With the St. Patty's day thread, I gave you a ton of recommendations for music and dance of the Irish sort. I went back to dance last fall actually. Trying to get fit. My belly was getting huge. (Found out weeks later it was because I was pregnant. Doy) But I just don't think I've got the time and/or cash to do it right now. Wanted to do a mommy and me dance class with E, but that most likely won't be Irish, they don't teach little girls that until they are at least four I think. I can start at home though of course.

It's amazing to me how you can remember all that. I'd forgotten long in the tooth which is how we got started. I think Blue solved the meaning of that too. Wow, it's all coming back to me now. Which reminds me, pertaining to the original subject...Beastie is meaningful because it reminds me of a running gag my best friend Jen and I have, about the song... ..... Well, It's meaningful for me because it hits the nail on the head. I've been there with that one and had to shake some things off from the past. I guess we all have. With the St. Patty's day thread, I gave you a ton of recommendations for music and dance of the Irish sort. ..... Right, which is how I first got to hear Gaelic Storm. I had written a few pieces for a dance troop then and you wanted to participate. How nice. But too many miles betwinst. I went back to dance last fall actually. Trying to get fit. Eh...she's done some imitating of me but that's it. I know they grow too fast, I hate it. =[ I just tell Kenny that each time my babies get too old...it's time for a new one. I've got him pretty scared. BTW, you've got me all messed up with this quote thing...this board's different, it's just weird! Yeah, didn't Blue tell us how they would judge the age of the horses by the teeth so they were 'long in the tooth?' And I talked about Abby the horse who was also long in the tooth...haha... Also, on the original subject, again today I heard another song that is really meaningful at this point in my life, "these hard times" Being a stay at home mom, we really are poor most of the times now and have to find creative ways to pretty much just survive...and amuse ourselves. LOL. But to be with my children is totally worth it.

I like this board but seems the old prehistoric type boards just did some things better. But on the subject, as you say, the most important Tull song for me, or one of the most, would have to be Pibroch, not lyrically but inspirationally. I learned a bit about arranging from that one as well as being inspired to learn the mandolin.

That's pretty cool...I think most of us have many meaningful Tull songs. For me, too many to list. Probably for others too. That's part of why we are all here in a Tull message board...I think for most it touches us in a way nothing else can.... No not that way! haha
