Seeing the wealth of 7" picture sleeves Charlie has uploaded to The Manual has made me yearn for the days before on-line downloads of tracks when you actually got a decent picture sleeve to go with your single.
That got me to thinking about all the folks here who dabble in a bit of arts and crafts. So, my challenge is about putting together your own design and art for a Tull 7" single of your own choice?
You pick a suitable track of your own choice, and mock up your own cover to it, it doesn't matter if it's drawn or a photo, just a bit of fun really....
I'll just got an dig out a sketchbook....

I'm with ya Pat. Ok, I whipped this first one up to get the ball rolling. I know there will be some good ones from this board.

Great one Erin! love your song picks, if only someone like you were working at Chrysalis at the time! Leave it to you to come up with great lesser known pics too. Okay then, what a great idea Pat. I'm sure there are some other folks here that have some artsy craftsey leanings. I know how to macrame! Cant wait to see what pops up! Darin Cody

Well here's my 7inches worth. I tried to keep with the bad garish 70s color combination and over all "bad" design also. What kept sneaking in though was something I might've actually wanted to see.....So I started out trying to make an ugly single 70s cover and as I was putting it together I started wanting to make something I really wanted to have seen.... Beyond our little 7 inch design thread, I started thinking about "What ifs, Maybes and Might've Beens. What if the double album that was started in France in 1973 was taken up again in the studio in England. Whatever had been going wrong in at the Chateau was fixed.....and released in 1973? There were at least 5 or 6 very strong tracks (IMO!) that would have gone over very nicely. and Yes I know sin of all sins, that what Im suggesting is that no APP.....at least not in the form that it appeared. Just wondering. Darin
