I've been meaning to do this thread for some time, because it's another example of me finding more than one Tull tribute band with the same name, and also because this story is interesting and funny!
A couple of years ago I did a thread, including photos and youtube, devoted to a tribute band by the name of Heavy Horses, from Norway. I reached out to them and their, drummer, Terje, actually joined the Board.
The previous thread, entitled Heavy Horses, can be found here:
thejethrotullboard.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=tribute&action=display&thread=1200
Some time afterward, I came across a second band called Heavy Horses, and guess what....those guys were also from Norway! I thought that maybe it was the same band, perhaps with new members, but after looking at their respective websites, it was clear that they were separate bands, performing concurrently in Norway, and all the members were completely different.
I contacted this second Heavy Horses band to confirm that they were indeed separate, and invited them to join the Board. Shortly thereafter, one of their members joined here under the name Damburster, and posted this, in my original Heavy Horses thread about their namesakes:
"Heavy Horses out of Drammen, Norway have been at it since 1998. Check us out at www.heavyhorses.no.
Two Tull bands in Norway and they are both called Heavy Horses.....hmmm.....friendly rivalry? ;o) Let's see who posts the best rendition of the song Heavy Horses then shall we."

So there you have it. There are, as far as I know based upon my research, only two Jethro Tull tribute bands in the world called Heavy Horses and both are from Norway! (Certainly these are the only two Heavy Horseses that have any kind of internet presence)
So, in this new thread which I am calling Heavy Horses II, let's cue up a few videos by Heavy Horses from Drammen, Norway, not to be confused with the other Heavy Horses from Norway.
These guys had a website -- that's how I contacted them -- the link to which is now dead, but I am quite certain that they still exist as an active band, since they do have a FB page (as does their 'friendly rival' HH tribute band countrymen, who I believe are also still active.)
