Well, I'm not just getting into Tull but this may be a good idea for me. All of those albums you mentioned, I think all, but if not, then most, have been scratched don't play right, plus I think my CD is about officially dead (remember the Stand Up stuck in there, now it's a JT Collection. Ahh!) Maybe I'll get the MP3s! This would cost more buying them on the iTunes store. Thanks TM!

Uh oh. Yeah, no. I've never had much luck with CD's. I've always had butterfingers and dropped them, left them in a weird spot, just listening to them over and over and the dust and dirt scrapes on them. They've always seemed to delicate for the heavy handed me. I've been excited to say goodbye to CD's for a long time. I think at the old board it was an ongoing joke about how many copies of HH I had to buy. Ryan joked about how sales had gone up in my part of the country. I did just find an unscratched HH copy in my CD's so I'm quite excited.

The only time I touch a CD is to burn it to iTunes and then back into the case it goes. My iTunes is connected to my home stereo and I use an iPod in my SUV.

Yeah I think that's exactly what I'm going to do from now on! By the way, the tape player iPod connector worked!

My method is this. Buy a CD, Rip CD to hard drive, Put CD away. Then I will burn a copy of the disc to listen to while the original CD stays pristine.

They should have used: Thick as a brick Heavy horses remaster Storm watch remaster Warchild remaster Aqualung 2 cd remix
Too old and minstrel are my least fave of the 10 remasters of the 70s

Bought it last week for my son for his birthday. He is a Tull fan also and I took him to see the band in 1993.
