How many members of Tull does it take to parallel park a car? LOL Uploaded with ImageShack.us We all know who the passenger is. Is that Peggy behind the LR? It started with Peggy trying to park it, then he got out, Martin got in and tried parking it. (this is in the UK, so that's actually the drivers seat, not passenger ) I'm pretty sure Maartin was in the back.

Somewhere I have a photo of that Edwin Shirley equipment truck with a parking ticket on it. I remember one of the drivers was called Yorkie. Understood every third word or so.....LOL

early 90's....Campus Club, Providence RI. 100+ shows in four countries. Stories would take up a book. Hi, Lee....great to hear from you on the Board! I'm definitely interested in hearing some of your stories. If it happens to be a long story, feel free to tell it in a series of separate posts. We've used what we like to call 'the installment method' to good effect several times in the past. (See the Ian Greets The Jethro Tull Board thread for a very funny story of how Paul and I met Ian a couple of years ago!) Providence 1991, the kick-off of the Catfish Rising tour, seemed to be when a lot of friendships were first made among Tull fans on the east coast. At least it was that way for me. But I didn't get to meet the band for the first time until a week or so later, at the Nassau Coliseum show, and there is a great story involving me and Mike Grin about that....in fact, it is the mother of all installment stories! Jeff It certainly was. I believe it was the first night I met Bev.

Lee,
I'm not surprised it was ticketted, it's in a restricted bay.
Where is that though, I haven't seen a cream coloured telephone box [of that type] in this country for years.

Pat Hard to remember all the tours/places at my age, but I think it's City Hall, Hull, Kingston-Upon-Hull. I looked at a few pictures of the interior and I know I tried to make myself as inconspicuous as possible behind one of the columns during sound check. LOL The equipment truck was almost always illegally parked- I think the picture I have may have been from Glasgow or Edinburgh.
