Yes thanks, fantastic. Oktober 12 1974 was the first time I saw them in concert. Didn't they play Rainbow Blues a few times during this tour?

I know there is an 8mm out there by a younger guy (Nick) that was "cheating" songs into bits of 8mm that was a nice wish but not real. Thought that was it. Very interesting. though i'd love to hear it. Is it in your Spanish TV film? Darin

I have a feeling I heard it prior to actually listening to it on MU.

The boots are Paris and Rotterdam 76. That particular tour was about one month long. Notably Big Dipper and Chequered Flag were kept in the set for the rest of the month however Rainbow Blues, Bad Eyed and Loveless, Quizz Kid, and Taxi Grab were dropped within the first couple weeks. Pretty experimental tour. Rotterdam 76 is the same show in which Didi Zill captured some of the only images from this tour. Martin in the karate suit. ;D

This was their biggest tour of Australia. And looking at the song list, I now know I wasn't dreaming when I thought I had heard some of the Chateau D'Isaster songs! I'm sure it was Bomb in the Dressing Room.

I'm sure it was Bomb in the Dressing Room. Geoff You weren't dreaming Geoff, I take it you saw the late APP tour in which they did continue playing "No Rehearsal", a hold over from the last of the TAAB tour, where they played Scenerio, Rehearsal, Left Right, Audition and No Rehearsal (the bomb). I'm not entirely sure of all the titles (my memory does fail!) as I don't have that in front of me at the moment, I'm sure Charlie or Tulltapes can check me on this. But they did play all those for a couple of months at the end of 72 and beginning of 73 before doing APP. I only got to see them do No Rehearsal as they did it the entire 73 tour. What I wonder was the dates of recording those songs and were they playing them before recording them at the Chateau. Some of them were really good songs, my fav is Left Right. Be glad to hear them get the Steven Wilson treatment when the APP 5.1 is released. Darin

This was the set list for the July 25 through October 26th shows. There was a statue of a dog on stage for these shows

This was the set list for the shows for the November 9th show until December 5th show in Copenhagen. It also had Miss Shona Learoyd as the ring mistress on the stage, and helping Ian on stage. The shows at Rainbow Theatre had featured "Pans People Dancers" , which Pan Dance was written for.as the intro. The F1 race car driver introduced the opening night concert Intro (Pan Dance - tape), Wind Up/Passion Play (Critique Oblique) Thick As A Brick My God (w. flute solo incl. God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen & Bourée, and piano solo) Cross-Eyed Mary How Much Is That Doggie In The Window Skating Away..., Wond'ring Aloud/Again Ladies/Drum Solo Warchild SeaLion Bungle In The Jungle Aqualung Back-Door Angels Locomotive Breath Hard-Headed English General Back-Door Angels (reprise)

Darin After checking it looks like the Chateau stuff played AFTER Oct. 72 included Left/Right, Audition and No Rehearsal within the encore bit. I was mistaking the acoustic intro of Audition with Scenario which was not played. Chateau material was recorded Sep. and Oct of 72. ....and unless you saw the APP tour which included No Rehearsal....you may have been dreaming Geoff Darin

We didn't get the APP tour. Maybe it was played on the TAAB tour (July 72).
