We lost a member of the Tull community recently. He was the front man for the terrific Tull tribute band Warchild.
A wake will be held for Paul on Saturday, July 6, 2013 from 2-5pm at the Charles Schmitt Funeral Home. 3836 Merrick Rd. Seaford, NY 11783.
RIP Paul, I enjoyed your performances.

I didn't know Paul personally, but was very aware of him and the respect he had in the Tull community through his work, as well as through the friendships made with others I know here through Tull.
Truly sorry to hear of his passing.
RIP Paul.

We heard about this the other day...very sad. I spoke with Bobb from War Child then and extended our condolences to the band and Paul's friends and family. This is a very tragic loss. Paul was a tremendous talent and his playing was amazing. Our band will dedicate the Brick to Paul in our next show. LWTP is considering playing a show with War Child in NYC in his honor.
God rest ye, merry gentleman.

This was posted yesterday to our Facebook page. It is from Barry Goldberg and he has asked me to post it here for our members.
TO ALL OF THE MEMBERS OF THE JETHRO TULL BOARD...
It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have to announce the passing of PAUL CARUSO, a great friend, musician, and frontman for the New York based JETHRO TULL tribute band, WARCHILD.
Paul's passion for TULL and TULL music was as great as anyone's I had ever met. For those who had the pleasure of knowing, meeting or seeing Paul perform, I'm sure this is a shock. He will be greatly missed by all those he had known.
For now, we are left with memories of Paul. It was such a rush for him to perform for the greatest of TULL fans, and I can honestly say that seeing WARCHILD play was as close to seeing the real deal; an incredible group of top notch musicians.
Paul, you were my friend, and I already miss you. I promise I will not forget you. Remember, Life is a Long Song, but for Paul, just not long enough.
RIP, buddy.

I Always admired the detail put into those Warchild gigs and Paul did a great job. RIP
