I tried to purchase two tickets to the VIP and the system wouldn't work. First, it would not let me alter the ticket amount (insisted I could only purchase 1). Since that would probably lead to divorce, I inquired on the Facebook link and was told to just purchase one at a time. So I tried that method, and then it stated emphatically that: "You have already signed up with this account information." Not sure what that means exactly, I was just inputting my credit card data. Yes, paypal or whatever probably has my cc info. So what. I couldn't proceed to the next step. So, here are my questions:
(1) Are other people experiencing this snafu? (2) Is there a workaround, or another method to get the VIP tickets? I would really like to go, to take my wife as well. (3) Any chance of getting this fixed? (4) If so, let it be known that I tried to purchase my tickets today, February 25, as far as my "place in line." Aaaargh!

Maybe because your credit card info is already in their system, you don't have to put it in again?

Hello; its Barry G., 1 of the administrators of the 2014 USA TULL CONVENTION. Im not sure who this is, but heres whats up. I have received only 1 report of a problem regarding the processing of a payment through PayPal. I have been in contact with that person privately. Rest assured, his place in line is guaranteed as I have secured his tickets. Now we just have to find the problem. His initials are P.P., so this may be the same person Im already in contact with. Regarding PayPal; Im far from computer savvy. While setting up the PayPal account was quite simple, setting up the links was a bit more complicated. Once the links were set up, they had to be moved to the FB page. That's where it crapped out. Regardless, I managed to get a link out for ticket requests. It wasn't until then that I realized the link would only process 1 payment at a time. so, I felt it was easier to just make 1 payment for each ticket than for me to try for a few more hours to figure this PayPal thing out. As previously stated, I believe this is an isolated incident as far as PayPal not allowing him to make a payment. Im sure it will be resolved relatively soon. This convention shit is all new to me and my fellow administrators, so bear with us. I can assure you that we will hit a few more snags from now until convention time, but if theres one thing I can guarantee, its that I know how to throw a hell of a party. Difference is, Ive invited Ian and his band to play at this one!!!!!!!!! Thanx for listening.

Barry G.: First of all, thanks for your efforts and holding 2 tix for me. Just so you know, P.P.=thewhistler=me. Once you get the kinks out (not the group, that would be too much, besides those brothers don't talk, but I digress) I will try again. For those gents who suggested I PM on Facebook, I did exactly that all along, which is where I received Barry's initial response. I just came back here to find out if others have encountered similar issues. I am good at following directions, just not good at climbing virtual walls. Phil

Given the info you were providing I just thought that the PM to the FB page was the best answer, I didn't know you had already done that. Hope it's getting sorted out. Sorry again. Darin

Are there any hotel accommodations being planned along with the convention? As much as I love to drive, getting through NYC back to PA could be, well, interesting.

Nothing has been finalized as of yet as far as I know Iva. Any updates on the convention? I am almost ready to book my hotel and airfare, but was waiting to hear any further news. Speaking of Long Island, I just got back from a long vacation that included New York, Maine and Nova Scotia. While in New York, I had a chance for the first time to play Bethpage Black. It kicked my ever-loving golf confidence back to the stone age. I usually shoot between 85 and 92. I didn't come close to breaking 100. Wow. I want another crack at that bad boy.

If I can ever make it to one of these (God knows there's not a bigger fan) I'd love to include a round of golf at a course like Bethpage! Awesome track I'm sure.
