Hey everyone. I got tickets to the Ian Anderson show at the beacon and I have a committment that will keep me busy till about 8. Does he have an opening act. Has anyone seen this tour? Does he tend to start on time? Just wondering and if anyone would know... this post would seem to be the spot. Tull was my first concert after they released locomotive breath. Its been a long time coming to see him a second time.

Ian has been very punctual the last few years starting his shows promptly at the scheduled time. Good luck, and feel free to stop back and give us your "review" of the show. Paul

yeah...punctual to a fault...no foolin'...Ian INSISTS on starting shows between 5 and 10 minutes after the time on the ticket....no one, outside of Germany expects that...and in many places it's just plain unfair...especialy if the venue has a bit of a bottleneck in the parking lot or entrance...let alone traffic....would it kill him to pay attention to local conditions and customs ( i.e.---traffic lateness chronic in LA) or even have someone look into the parking lot and see if lots of people are still streaming in...and push back 15 or 20 minutes now and then so people can get there 50-100 dollars worth?
