I'm so busy at work and drained at night. In order for me to make any guesses, I need to drag out some lyric sheets, etc. It might be a couple of days. So all you others, feel free to guess.

The job of a Tull "character" ay?
Jack in the Green is the one that springs to mind but of course since that's mythical you couldn't have been talking about that.
I will go with the Blacksmith from Weathercock.

I will go with the Blacksmith from Weathercock. No, not the blacksmith either. I think the key question was about interacting with customers. One more guess. Jeff

Not necessary to do that so early, because there are three shots at it after the last question is asked, when you have more information to work with, and can make a more informed choice. Jeff

Whoa!!!! I'm waiting for the answer, at which point we can judge whether the "To Tell the Truth" concept was legit. I'm sure if you look at the history of that show, there were times when a question was a throw away and in some cases a wild guess (or two) was taken early.

I just thought it was not the most effective use of a question at that early stage. The Board has one more guess. Focus on the "interact with customers" detail. Jeff

Good job TM!! Yeah, I mean it's a vague reference in a song. How does anybody know the health, honesty, etc. of the Candy Floss Salesman.

You know, there is one question that maybe NFM could have answered differently. And that of course is is the candy floss salesman good enough reason for a party? Now there are some, like my youngest daughter who would love to have a candy floss party, and then you have some others who may have felt he was worth a party as well.

Okay, boys and girls, it's time to play Guess the Tull Job again!
I'm thinking of another Tull-song character who holds a certain occupation. The board has 10 questions, but they must be yes or no questions, to guess who it is. The board wins if they guess the character and the character's occupation at any time up to, or after, the tenth question, but only three attempts will be permitted following the last question. So ten questions can be asked, and then the board will have three attempts, to guess.
Three caveats:
1) A question as to whether the character is male or female counts as one of the ten.
2) The question must relate to the character or occupation, so for example, questions such as "is it on an album prior to 1980, or afterward" are not allowed.
3) I do not recommend prematurely guessing who the character is, because the question "is it so and so?" will count as one of the ten. Remember, the board will have three attempts following the tenth question, so it's better to have as much information as possible before taking a guess.
So, who would like to ask the first question?
Jeff

Okay, if Jeff doesn't mind I have selected an occupation mentioned in a Tull song.
Same rules apply:
The board has 10 questions, but they must be yes or no questions, to guess who it is. The board wins if they guess the character and the character's occupation at any time up to, or after, the tenth question, but only three attempts will be permitted following the last question. So ten questions can be asked, and then the board will have three attempts, to guess.
Three caveats:
1) This particular character may be male or female.
Okay, who wants to begin?
