This thread goes way over the top guys! Martin's Q&A was really good, but Dave Pegg's is absolutley the Bee's Knees, the Cat's Meeow, the Dog's Ballocks, and the White on the Rice.
I don't know if many of you have been keeping up with me on FaceBook, I have not been very active on the forum due to health issues and I've only been keeping up with my FB account because it requires the least amount of typing, which is very handy when your computer usage is limited to using an iPhone while in the hospital. On October 18th I had heart by-pass surgery due to some blockages (3 of them) I had. The good news for me is that I took heed of my good senses to have my wife take me to the Emergency Room when I was having some unusual pains in my chest. I did not have a heart attack, or any damage, etc.
Anyways, I took the side road to get around to telling you that I am in cardiac rehab which involves a bit of exercise on treadmills and stationary bikes. I discovered we had the Dave Pegg Q&A posted via the notice on FaceBook while I was waiting to begin my first rehab session, and ended up listening to it via my iPhone whilst working out on the treadmill. FAN-FREAKIN-TASTIC! Dave is awesome for giving us a voice recording of his answers! So far, and as far as I'm concerned, Dave's Q&A session has all of the other ones beat...hands down. Of course having Ian give a little backstage post-performance video/audio byte was a nice touch, too, but Dave was much more generous about his contribution to the board.
I just listened to "Peggy's Pub" from the 1980 Stormwatch Tour to celebrate. ;D Thank you Dave, YOU DA MAN! And a HUGE Thank You to those involved who did the legwork to bring these interviews to us here on the forum. You guys RAWK!!!
LC
PS. If you'd like to hear a bootlegged copy of Peggy's Pub, here is a link from where you may download it. This was Dave's first tour with Tull, and I was fortunate to be able to see them perform at the Frankfurt Festhalle in Germany in 1980.
