Whoo-hoo!! Just picked up my tickets for Thursday Oct. 4th at Mohegan Sun Arena that just went on sale this morning! Me and the old man are going....lucky for him, his buddy bought him a ticket for the next night at the Beacon, which I can't make. Oh well, once is better than nothing. Dad hasn't even heard TAAB2 yet either!

LO freakin' L! ;D Well, he's stopping by this afternoon so I'll be hooking him up with a copy of TAAB2 that I burned for him along with the 40th anniversary Aqualung discs. I'm anxious to hear his reaction to the new album....I'm far more critical of Ian's output the last 15 years or so than he is and I love it, so I'm sure he'll love it too.

M,
Nice to see you again, hope all is well with you.
The earthquake seems to have done quite a bit of damage, and yesterdays 2nd quake didn't help matters; We have friends out there at the moment and hope that they and everyone affected are OK and coping at the moment.
Having said that, I hope the gig goes ahead and you have a great time at both shows.
Remember your old friends here, any review or photos always gratefully appreciated.
Have a great time.

Quizz Kid, thanks for the kind message. The area interested from the telluric movements, not much immense one, but has been very many damages and human losses of screw. One always hopes that all it ends soon. However, I report gladly on purpose of the concert of Milan, and if will have place of that one of Modena, also from I have little acquired tickets for the concert from Montreuw, Switzerland, in July. Michele.

Hello there. There is an official statement from Blue Sky Promotions (the ialian promoter for IA and Jethro Tull), that the concert of saturday has been postponed to the 4th of december. The decision was taken in order to help the population and the ones that still need medical assistence. I guess that they could use the venue to give recover to the ones left witout a home, as well as to store food, medicines, and use the police and the security usually present at a live concert for other, more urgent purposes. The note also says that "the musicians and the organisation share deep solidarity with the population living in the earthquake area". Wa all hope that the new date, 4th of december, near to Christmas, will bring new hope to this people and this area so strongly affected by the earthquake.

Thanks for the update. Sorry to hear that but I'm sure they are doing what's best for all, and at least the show has been re-scheduled.

Unsurprisingly, the Modena concert Saturday 2 June, been suspended for reasons of public safety, due to the earthquake, and postponed to December 4. My friend Valerio came to give the new before me . We both will be at the show in Milan. M.

Hi all. I attended the concert in Milan TaaB part 2 Tour. I was very surprised by the originality of the show. This differs very much from any traditional concert. I had the impression that it is treated primarily a "musical". Runs perfectly with very varied pace, also for adding stunning background video and excellent choreography. I remember many years ago, when there was talk of a similar project for "Too Old to Rock and Roll and Too Young to Die". Perhaps this is the intention. Reminded me of "The Hare Who Lost His Spectacles" somehow. I have enjoyed very much the connection via Skype, the DIVER!!!, wonderful videos and everything else. The new singer is very well with the Band, definitely. He looks like an actor, more than a singer. Among musicians, I'm excited about the "work" done by Scott Hammond!! Really good, even though I had already known. With regards to Ian, I seemed to have adopted is a strategy: for the first part of TaaB held intentionally low voice, to stabilise towards the end. While TaaB2 could sing at best. This logical, I think, I think he's more interested in presenting its new work, given that we know already TaaB 1 ' all. This kind of show must be a very, very difficult one to execute and manage, the evening was very warm and the Emerald Theatre is really sucks, some Fans have met , Ian coming from theater, and have seen very tired, and I am not happy with this, for Ian. M. Thanks for the review Michele. I think Ian said that he only had about 16 minutes during the entire show where he wasn't doing anything. It sounds as if he may have put too much on his plate. I hope his body can handle it.
