More outtakes from 1976-1982, PLEASE! "Broadfoard Bazaar" is the work of a genius. "Crew nights" & "Drive on the young side of life" are brilliant tunes and arrangements, typicall for their time (US-AOR) but still marching and stomping with the flute ahead.

Certainly not lonely among all the lascivious lyrics Ian has written. ;D
I really love the War Child outtakes, it could have easily been a double album, imho (or a single LP backed by a couple of singles).

Ahh Nightcap! How about the really modern sounding intro to Hardliner? Or the flute solo on Silver River Turning? I know it isnt the most difficult he has ever played, but I love it. As kids we used to sneak up to the river with our fishing poles on this one road...
Paradise Steakhouse you say - now is that the one that goes dah dah dah?

Love Silver River - the lyrics take me back to my childhood too. I walked down that boulder road, through a child's eye saw places where I used to go. Where I crawled barefoot with a fishing pole to the rock that overlooked that steelhead hole,

Yeah a double album if they included 1974's March the mad scientist and the unreleased Beaches part 1 and Beaches part 2

I remember an article in a local music paper announcing the imminent release of Rock Island, saying it featured a track called Hardliner. I was surprised in wasn't on the fianl CD and even more annoyed when I finally heard it years later and realized it was the best thing from those sessions.

I was way too young to appreciate the release of Nightcap, but I do know the excitement of listening to all of their 70s albums (and thus learning every note and line by heart) and then discovering the *gasp* Unreleased 1973 LP!! A very menacing album. Not unlike it's replacement.
Everything else was great on it too in my opinion. No Step? No Step.
I hope someone in the inner circle of the band and the band's management realize the profit potential for a second unreleased compilation album. Even if it is just digital. Something tells me they wouldn't have just released disc 2 of nightcap by itself on CD.
