If you missed Cheltenham week and the Gold Cup, then you still have a chance to get down to Cheltenham Racecourse and enjoy Ian playing Tull. Date and poster has been around for while but this is a timely reminder to put it in your diaries [well you UK followers at least]. Sunday 5th June details on the poster below!

A brief almost non-existant review below, www.virtualfestivals.com/festivals/reviews/10498/-/First-review-Wychwood-Festival-2011"Ian Anderson's (8/10) hugely-anticipated and rare festival slot is a treat for all Jethro Tull fans, delivered with a vibrant accomplished professionalism and passion that is a thrill for all those who eagerly awaited it."8/10, the higest score in the review for a music act....although Ian was beaten by a high scoring, 10/10, Mr Tumble... "Justin Fletcher, or Mr Tumble (10/10) as one of his kids TV alter egos is known, is a rockstar as far as a three year old is concerned, and clearly some of their mums too. His 'Okey Cokey' is hilarious fun, leaving every adult and child in the field exhausted and hooting with laughter in spite of the early Sunday morning hour."Somehow, I suspect Ian possibly wasn't one of them....

Jethro Tull mainman Ian Anderson rounded things off nicely with his witty banter and breathy flute solos as he revisited the best bits of the evergreen albums Aqualung and Thick As a Brick. Like the Tull repertoire, Wychwood is a festival that's built to last. Unearthly visitation

We asked if anyone had seen the gig on our FB page, a comment from Dave Rees; "I did, and they were tremendous! Ian was in fine voice, and the extended short version (if you know what I mean) of TAAB was immense!"Hope that bodes well for the US Tour.
