Try the band ''Blood Ceremony''. It's different but pretty good. However it's no Tull. And the poet sheaths his pen while the soldier sheds his sword.

There definitely needs to be more flute in rock and roll music. One of the only other bands that I've heard utilize the flute in rock the way Ian does is Focus. The Marshall Tucker Band (one of my favorites) used the flute very well, but that was in more of a country rock jazzy jam band kind of situation.

Their original flutist, Jerry Eubanks, was awesome, and they did some pretty heavy southern rock back then.
