If I ever had fun it was when I flew to La Guardia airport in NYC to see Ian Anderson at the Beacon Theater that night. My friend from North Carolina (Danny - Yes fan) and I got tickets to a show where I got my first Ian autograph. ;D ;D Also, with the help of my friends Randy and Kathy, I would ride with them to Philadelphia and see Divinities at the Tower Theater the next night. A special message for the ladies in front of Ian's tour bus. ;D When I was at the Beacon, we had great seats dead center. I still get chills from that night with the opening track "In A Stone Circle". This was the first show where Ian played an entire album complete since "A Passion Play". All the songs were instrumentals and everyone listened intensely to every note. Ian would speak in between each song to give references about their origin. I felt like I was having an out of body experience. All the music was superb with Chris Leslie and Jonathan Noyce as members. Doane Perry was really effective with his complex rhythms. Andy Giddings co-creator of the music made it surreal.
After the first set we had intermission to relax before the next with new versions of Tull classics done as never before. I was able to recognize most until "Aqualung" which really got a make-over. It was a night I will never forget, especially when I ran into Eddie Jobson. He autographed the only thing I could use which was a ticket stub. After we went outside we waited awhile until Ian and Andy could be seen talking with select fans inside. As we begged for attention he signed my first of several pics and I was ecstatic. The next day we rode to Philly in the Tull Van and partied with the Tull sisters Felicia and Joan. The show at Upper Darby seemed a little less intense but I was able to watch the last set on front row. Afterwards we saw Ian again and Randy got his "Never to Old To Rock 'n Roll" shirt autographed. Success was all around as more friends from the '94 Hofstra convention met us at the bar next door. It was turning into another night of pure fun and Tull. Ian gave me 2 more autographs on the print of the cd artwork and also a Circus magazine pic from the old days. My only request was he sign it to my son Jason who was in New Mexico. Jason saw his first Tull show the next year. Thanks Ian. Flying home from Philadelphia was bittersweet, and I couldn't wait to have my picture made with my new tour shirt and promo poster. Life on the road with good friends and good music. Thanks Ian for being so generous with your time. Thanks to the girl at Peppermint Records for saving me the "Divinities" promo poster and 12" flats.

teddy: Seems like everyone trying to figure out " Eat Hermione for lunch" just don't get it. A Popular vegetarian line of food is advertised by a woman named Hermione. You can see the advertisement on line. Thus it is not oral sex with a office girl. Munch.

lclark354: Hello everyone. I recently finished a room addition, and can finally set up surround sound. I've purchased all the Tull sets, except, of course,TAAB. Is there a site where one can purchase & download the 5.1 files? Or, any word on a re-issue?

willydontmind: I bought a 1967 Eko Ranger 12 and it had an autograph on the back. After looking around at who used this kind of guitar and comparing signatures to everyone that I could think of, I came up with John Evans. What do you guys think? Is this his signature
