I thought it might be fun to expand this game to include Tull fans. ;D This one has two meanings. jym /jihm/ verb : 1) to insist, attack or berate, in a relentless and fanatical manner. ex. "The JTB member spoke of Martin in a comparatively favorable light, and was immediately jymmed to death by the Florian fan." 2) to harbor an obsessive love of, or man crush on, a musician, particularly a male rock guitarist. ex. "The fan took his admiration of the young guitarist so far, that it seemed to many that he actually jymmed him." Jeff

Time now to revive our Tull Fictionary game, where we create our own words using current or past bandmember names! odonnell /oh-dahn-null/ verb : To act in an imitative manner; to copy or replicate; to assist or aid one who is unable. Ex. "The aging band leader could no longer sing so well, so he hired someone younger to odonnell him onstage." Jeff Really great job Jeff. But it just sounds soooo wrong! (so a continuation of the multi parter?) Darin Thanks. You know, I started the second installment of that story a few days ago, but then the proboards server went down, and I lost what I had posted, including some images. So I've got to re-do it. Jeff

Florianism noun /flooreun-izəm/ a religion developed by certain fans of Ian Anderson and characterized by the belief that one paticular replacment or fill in guitarist is greater than the original / to regard the genuine article as no longer relevant and adamantly campaign against those who still believe in his greatness

Let me guess: you two are about eight, right?

Discussing Tull is serious stuff and requires a level of maturity you evidently lack. I mean, we are talking about a professional musician in Ian Anderson! Just because he wore spandex and cod pieces and...ummm...sang about blackheads and pissing himself in the night...and...errr...not sitting on toilet seats, and performing cunnilingus on a Hunting Girl... ....Well...ummm...never mind.

Credit goes to Paul for this intransitive verb, which we will now add to our Tull Fictionary:
homo /hoe-moe/ v. To study, discuss or listen intently to a new album release, particularly one by an aging, bearded one-legged flutist. Ex . "I must confess that I homo'ed yet again last night. Not that there's anything wrong with that."

It's time for another ridiculous entry in our Tull Fictionary, the thread where we create and define new words using the first, middle or last names of current or former members of Jethro Tull or the Ian Anderson Band.
giddings \gidd-ingz\ adj. : excited, elated or overjoyed, to the point of dizzyness - ex. "The musician was positively giddings to land a gig with the legendary band; not so much when he was suddenly cornicked* by the ianian* band leader."
* See previous entries in our Tull Fictionary for definitions! squeezy
Lol, pretty soon we will have our own language.
