Who gives strict sartorial advice? Jeff The Wiseman No, I'm sorry Darin, that is not the correct answer. While I am sure that some wisemen might have sufficient knowledge to feel confident enough to give strict advice concerning such matters, others may not. In fact, some very, very wise men have been known to dress very poorly, guys like Albert Einstein, for instance, who were brilliant, yet quite disheveled! Keep on guessing, though! Jeff

Hmmph I took a beating on #40. Knew it was Sporran too.
Well this one is tougher (I think) so maybe I can make amends?
Cock Robin?

I was thinking about this song, Stitch In Time when I was mowing yesterday (!!) [it's Summer here] and if that song had been produced better (without the flute overwhelming Martin's guitar solo) it might have done OK as it's really quite a good song.

Well, Cock Robin is giving advice about how to perform factory work, but his usage of the idiom 'A stitch in time saves nine' does not necessarily mean that it is a textile factory, and regardless, his advice is about the work, not about how to dress, like the character in the song I am thinking of. Good try, though! Jeff [Edit] I just looked at the lyrics, and I was wrong, it definitely is a textile factory, because they are "weaving" sad stories. So I understand why you guys might have guessed Cock Robin, but the sartorial advice I was referring to was advice concerning clothing or what to wear.

I have to give this one to awol and Geoff, because the more I think about this, the more I like their Cock Robin answer better than my own, which incidentally was The Wardrobe Mistress from Left/Right.
This has happened a couple of times before, where one of my Tull lyric quizzes admits of more than one correct answer, or answers that are very, very close to the one I had in mind.

Thank you Jeff. I was digging pretty deep for that one but thought it was good since we have The Secret Language of Birds, and many other references to the little winged dinosaurs around us. Ive known birds to scold too!
