This Is Not Love Winds howled. Rains spit down I'm not totally sure but the bass player looks like Matthew Pegg and the drummer might be David Mattacks. I could not see the keyboards but wonder if it was Maartin Allcock. Also, the rain was a nice touch considering the lyrics, but who would do this type of production outdoors? Ian looks very cool in his Catfish Tull hat.

Robin Trower Cold wind blows the gods look down I WISH THIS WINDY FEBRUARY RIDE NEVER WINDS UP, AMAZING EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN FOR ME!! THANKS ALL Sentational post, Charlie, for me Robin's song has been another zenith post on this windy ride. I wish sort of these songs would last much longer to enjoy and enjoy and enjoy listenin' the Robin's awesome guitar playin', I don't ever feel weary. Also breathtaking your late Tull's posts, and so precious Warren Zevon's tune too, well done Charlie. Great finds. Thanks a lot. Jim, also rather impressive your Led Zeppelin's Live No Quarter tube post. great find. Thanks amigo. icylucifer, I'm not an english guy, and also I thought of this song to be posted, though I believe on this Tull's song context it doesn't have to do so much with winds, IMO, but I may be wrong. Hope someone in here help us what "Wind Up" means on this song. Thanks for taking part. As for the forthcoming March's subject it doesn't worry me at all, I know undoubtedly threre'll be some in process, our favourite songwriters wrote a good deal of them. Whatever of them may be chosen it will be fine to start with, ships, love, rain or storms and much more, doesn't matter which. Well, meanwhile it's still 10 days left to get March and this hasn't finished yet, even so, don't fall asleep ;D Jim Croce - I Got a Name . What a great voice he owned, fatal lost for music Like the North wind whistling down the skyAnd now the grumpy from Belfast ;D Like a full force gale i was lifted up again i was lifted up again by the lord

Marvellous proposal, Dan, it hadn't been posted yet Far away on the other side. Caught in the middle of a hundred and five The night was heavy but the air was aliveBut she couldn't find how to push through Carried away by a moonlight shadow Carried away by a moonlight shadow Far away on the other side. Other possible subjects for next March: springtime, flowers, trees, plants (grass included ;D )

Mr. Peter Gabriel - Solsbury Hill

Mr. Peter Gabriel - Solsbury Hill Climbing up on Solsbury Hill I could see the city light Wind was blowing, time stood still Eagle flew out of the night This song was Peter Gabriel's first big radio hit. I would love to see him live but never had the chance. His videos are always 1st Class. What an imagination.

AFTER THE STORM, THE CALM.... AFTER THE CALM, THE STORM.... And I don't give up unexpectedly and here I go again with the subject with one of the best and unequalled progressive rock songs ever accomplished which also holds a slight windy reference. Enjoy the Complete song. You gotta be crazy, you gotta have a real need You gotta sleep on your toes, and when you're on the street You gotta be able to pick out the easy meat with your eyes closed And then moving in silently, down wind and out of sightYou gotta strike when the moment is right without thinking.

Well, if you go when the snowflakes storm, When the rivers freeze and summer ends, Please see if she's wearing a coat so warm, To keep her from the howlin' winds.

Well, if you go when the snowflakes storm, When the rivers freeze and summer ends, Please see if she's wearing a coat so warm, To keep her from the howlin' winds. On this day in 1969, two of rock and roll’s pioneers and bona fide legends got together for a historic recording session in Nashville. Bob Dylan and Johnny Cash got together to record some material together, but the session has still only released one recording of both of them together - a re-recording of Dylan’s “Girl From the North Country.” Read more: Today in Music History: Bob Dylan and Johnny Cash Record “Girl from the North Country” wzlx.radio.com/2012/02/17/today-in-music-history-bob-dylan-and-johnny-cash-record-girl-from-the-north-country/#ixzz1nA2eWLAjThe track is a unique kind of performance for Dylan, his familiar rasp largely absent in place of a smoother vocal tone. It’s hard to even recognize Bob’s voice at first. WZLX Flashback: Bob Dylan In… But Johnny’s deep, booming voice is as powerful as one would expect, especially when delivering words as powerful as those penned by Dylan in his early career. The stripped-down acoustic guitars tailored to both guys remain, as well as Dylan’s poetic lyrics which had already made the song famous. It’s a quite beautiful take on a song that was already destined to become a classic. Fans of classic rock, country and folk would certainly love to hear more duets from that almost mythic session between Dylan and Johnny Cash. This one tune will have to do for now – but what a great recording it is. Great song Serge. First time I heard it.

Syd Barrett - Bob Dylan Blues Cause I'm a poet Dontcha know it and the wind you can blow itKai, gorgeous and surprising find after checkin' Syd's rendition of the famous windy Dylan's song. Thanks for joinin'. Thanks Charlie, very good CS&N's windy song proposition. Have you already decided next March subject? Highlight of the day, The Beach Boys-Good Vibrations. I-I love the colorful clothes she wears And the way the sunlight plays upon her hair I hear the sound of a gentle word On the wind that lifts her perfume through the airCome on folks, still six days to find the windy treasure ;D
