Jim ( JTull07 ) Tryon, North Carolina (1) - You have a great sound and TAAB 2 is superb. Do you have a special favorite song so far?(2) - Is learning the entire "Thick as a Brick" to play live harder than you originally thought?(3) - After the show in Asheville, North Carolina, would you like some wine, dark ale or rum? ;D

Hi John! I have enjoyed your concert performances with Tull and Ian Anderson, and the new album sounds great. My question concerns life on tour. Do any aspects of different towns, venues, or audiences stick with you after a stint on the road, or does it all pass in a blur of travel, soundchecks, hotels, and concerts?

OK,The Q&A with John is open now folks. So, post away.... Hi John. Is Ian easier to work for than others? On the TAAB2 DVD everyone seems to be having a great time making this album. William, King, NC, 27021-9318

Dear John: Many thanks for your fine work with Ian and others. I am of the opinion presently that the instrumental break in the middle of "A Change of Horses" is.... oh hell... the entire song is perhaps one of the band's (Anderson and/or Tull) finest moments, and your contributions are absolutely integral and spot on! Thank you ever so much!! My question: Did your work on the 'Quadrophenia' production involve any interaction, creative or otherwise, with Pete Townsend, and if so, could you please compare and contrast the experience with that of working with Ian, particularly on the TAAB2 project, but also just in a general sense? I can't even begin to imagine how professionally fulfilling it must be to have worked with such giants in the industry on works that are, arguably, among their very finest. And finally, Leon Alvarado speculates in his TAAB2 Review that you may very well be the adult version of the boy credited as Gerald Bostock as pictured on the original Thick As A Brick album cover (see, e.g.,: leonblogaswords.blogspot.com/2012/04/taab2-now-that-cat-is-out.html#!/2012/04/taab2-now-that-cat-is-out.html)? Well? You can either come clean or perpetuate the spoof....
