Look forwarding to seeing you again, and maybe I could play that Eddie Jobson keyboard solo that he did on the "A" Tull tour for you! (and I don't mean Alaska) lol That would be cool! And if you don't mind I'd love to hear Easy Living too! LOL That was going to be my joke at first, but I couldn't remember the name of the song.....

Hi, I had a great time at the Footsteps show. It was nice meeting you guys and gals from Footsteps and Warchild. Can someone give me the timeline for Saturday at Sullivan? What time does Footsteps go on and off and the same for Warchild? Thanks, Paulie

Hi everybody, I just wanted to thank Paul and Marcie and Warchild for a great night of Tull tunes. I really dig Jethro Tull. Rainbow blues was a pleasant surprise, perfect for the violins and cello. It was nice of everyone to sign your poster I liberated from the lobby. It's a shame more people couldn't come out and enjoy the concert but you can blame Sullivan for that. They left the show off their ad in the Voice until the week of the show. Well, thanks again and hope to be seeing you play again in N.Y.C. soon.
P.S.Robb and Renee, I told you about knowing the manager of the Iridium and you said you played there before so you know the place and the people there. For a gig there call Ron at (917)294-4908 or (917)794-4908 (I can't make out the first #. I's either a 2 or a 7). Tell him Paulie, from the Jorma show, Popa Chubby's friend told you to call. They were willing to pay Popa $4,000 but since you're eight people he may offer more. Also, it was nice meeting you Jeff. Great board!

Paulie Hey, Paulie, It was nice to meet you too, because you had been posting here for awhile, and we've been talking about War Child, and since I've been to most local WC shows, you had me trying to figure out who you were! I am glad you like the board, and look forward to seeing you around here, and at future WC shows in the future. (Also, did you know there is a NYC Jethro Tull Meetup Group that gets together every couple of months?) Jeff

Thanks Jeff, I recognized you right away from your picture on this board. Sorry I couldn't stick around and chat after the show but something important came up and I had to leave. As for the Tull group meeting, I would love to attend and swap stories of old Tull shows. I'd appreciate it if you let me know when and where the next one is. Also I read on the board that you're good friends with Warchild's keyboard player, can you tell him two venues I know of in Brooklyn are looking for bands to play? The Brooklyn Bowl Southpaws The subway stops close to both and the BQE has an exit close to The Brook. Bowl. If he needs there phone # s let me know. Take Care, Paulie

New venue, sounds great. Question for Jeff or somebody in Warchild. I'm going to see Hot Tuna at the Beacon Theatre this Saturday night which is just a few blocks from The Triad. Would any of you guys know the hours their box office is open, if they have one at all and only sell tickets online

I guarantee it that they are a great tribute band, I have seen them everything they perform in NYC I think. I go out my way to support these real quiet awesome tribute band, They even have a string quartet, which also they happen to be great friendly people.

Hey Darkside, I agree totally with you. Besides beeing a band of talented musicians, they're also very nice and friendly people to boot. Your user name suggests to me you like Pink Floyd. If so there's a great Floyd tribute band playing B.B. King's in N.Y.C. on December 29 and 30 called The Machine. If you are a Floyd fan and are interested in going, you are better off going the 30.The 29th is usually short cause they go all out on the 30th with 3 sets. Hope this info's helpful to you

If you want though, I can meet you before or after Hot Tuna on Sat. night (I live right across from the Beacon) to arrange how to get you tix for our show. Mike

Thanks Mike, I always hit the box offices of venues I'm going to so I don't have to pay extra for the fees they charge you when purchasing online. Well, I guess I have no choice with The Triad if there's no box. It must be great living right there by the Beacon. I've seen many, many shows there over the years. I was good friends with Big Mike who was head of security there. He used to let me in the back door for $10 a show for close to 15 years until he passed away. Thanks for the offer to help me with purchasing tickets for your gig but I'll just get them online. Im' looking foward to seeing Warchild again.
Happy Holidays to you and the rest of the band, Paulie

Well, I picked up a ticket online for Warchild 1/14 at the Triad. Question: Is this ticket good for the whole evening including the Beatle tribute band before Warchild goes on or only gets you in at 9:30 pm to 11:30 pm for Warchild? I'm looking foward to seeing you guys again. Always a great time!
Thanks, Paulie

Lookin forward to seeing you at the show -- we just had a rehearsal today to go over the whole show and we think it should be a good one. Mike

Or maybe we should combine songs: "Aqualung Came In Thru The Bathroom Window", "Let It Be Thick As A Brick", "Cross Eyed Mary In The Sky With Diamonds"? Mike

Greetings and good evening. As I posted on Warchild's Myspace page last night, we thoroughly enjoyed the show at that awesome little venue known as the Triad Theatre and are very much looking forward to the next gig! Great job by the entire band.

Warchild, Thank you for a great evening of music from Jethro Tull. Everyone was great but Mike's piano solo was exceptional. Also, I met your wife in the lobby Mike and she is really nice. Hope to see all you guys and gals again soon. Paulie P.S.: That piano solo's called "A song about everything"' right?
