........Angela Allen? She's listed as providing backing vocals on Crazed Institution and Big Dipper -- both songs which I love -- but I know nothing about her. Does anyone know where Ian found her? Or what happened to her after that album?

........Tony Williams? He played at that famous 1978 MSG show (and I guess was with them for that entire tour), but where did he come from, and what happened to him since?

Jeff If memory serves (and it usually doesn't), I believe she was the sister of David Allen, vocalist and dancer with the theatrical rock band Carmen which opened for Tull on the Warchild tour. I think she played the keyboards, sang and danced in that band as well.

Until proper info arrives, I will say that he was an old chum of IA's, from Blackpool I believe, recruited by Barlow to fill in for John Glasscock on the HH tour in 78. I think he was actually a guitar player, and last I heard was still playing locally part time apart from whatever his day gig was which alludes me at the moment. Gosh, I'm half full of almost information tonight.

Another site just states that she is currently living in London. www.studiowner.com/essays/essay.asp?books=0&pagnum=82Dan

I also remember reading somewhere about a lawsuit that Tony Williams filed against an air freshener company. It was actually quite ridiculous.
It was something along the lines of, he left one of his (expensive) guitars by one of their air fresheners, and overtime, it melted the paint from his guitar or something.
All musicians should be wary of where they put their instruments, and in what environments.

............Jethro Tull? In the good old days there was just Jethro Tull. Lately though we've had Solo IA, Rubbing Elbows IA, IA plays the acoustic Jethro Tull, IA plays the orchestral Jethro Tull, IA plays the Christmas Jethro Tull, an Orchestra plus IA plays Jethro Tull and the solo IA, IA plus a band that does not include Martin plays AS Jethro Tull, etc., etc. The only thing we've had very little of is plain old Jethro Tull.
