A Passion Play DJ Copy

I was fortunate enough to win a Mint DJ copy of APP at a local record auction ... so does anyone know any kind of background info on this?

This arrived today. I put it on and discovered that its an edited copy of APP for radio (divided into sections with fadeouts, to make it more suitable to put on air) which is really fascinating to me as I'm a bit of a Radio guy myself. It seems like the various extracts on the compilations come from this DJ copy (this is how it is indexed on the cover). Skipping through it, I noticed that "The Hare" opens up Side 2 ... I wonder if some hapless DJ ever let that one get out

Its certainly not something I plan to listen to often, but its interesting enough for me to be glad I own it!

I remember walking into the record shop on the day of release to buy APP, hadn't heard a note of it on the radio yet, and the shop had just flipped on side 2 commencing with "Hare". A very curious (as in WT*?) moment indeed.
