This thread is a little like Roger a/k/a Mystery to Me's Tull Survival story, but not exactly.
Basically, I think a lot of us have had times when we were feeling down or depressed -- as opposed to Roger, whose life was actually in danger -- and then, after playing Tull, our spirits were lifted and we were able to get through whatever tough time we were going through.
I can remember trying to study for a high school exam once, and really having a mental block. I just wasn't getting it. So I took a break, played the Songs from the Wood album. When I went back to the material afterward (I think it was chemistry, or maybe physics), it all seemed to make sense to me, like I had an epiphany or something, and then I did quite well on the test!
Does anyone have any similar stories, as to a tough time that Tull helped you to get through, and if so, what was it, and what was the song or album that helped you get through it?

There is no doubt that Tull is the cure for DEPRESSION ! It only takes a few minutes to get over the bullshit that surrounds our world every day. Politics, Religion, people losing their minds and crawling into a hole after they forget what matters. Tull is not an escape, it is a breath of fresh air! Put a Tull song on and Life is Good Dammit! If I ever whine about anything then hook me up to 5.1 TAAB 2 and call it Goood! Plus a Rum and Coke please.
