So your Tull concerts probably looked something like this? Just to clarify, the show mentioned in 1975 was special indeed. Having a designated driver was a real plus that night and appreciated. The visual enhancement was not as effective as the video might suggest. My memory is still clear and reaffirmed by David/Dee Palmer who was also there that night. As confirmed also by Darin Cody's video there were Ladies on Strings with white Afros.[glow=teal,6,300]Tull - Far Out ![/glow]

OK, July 1972, Thick As A Brick. JT's first tour of Australia, and it was huge! (The tour). I was just a schoolboy... Even so, $3.80 plus about a dollar booking fee was probably my week's allowance! 4IP was our local (Ipswich) AM radio station which became Brisbane's top pop and rock station. Festival Hall was then Brisbane's main entertainment venue. I can't believe it when I think of all the smoking there- it's a wonder it didn't burn down!

Do you remember how many cigarettes Ian brought along?

My 11th Tull Concert[glow=lime,5,300]Roots to Branches Tour[/glow]1996 March 27 / Richmond, Virginia2 Tickets for myself and my 17 year old son. This was a extremely difficult show to watch with Ian and his wheelchair. I was totally unaware how serious this situation would eventually become.(DVT) Jason loved every song and I worried that Ian would never stand on one leg again.

Wow, great pics Jim. It must have been a trip to see Ian in a wheelchair onstage, sort of ironic if you look at it in a certain way.
That's a great picture though, he looks like he's still rocking hard. Maybe just disgruntled. Gotta give props to him for doing it.

He did as joke for 25 years tour when a young female member of the audience, dressed in a skimpy nurse's outfit pushed him on stage. In 96 Ian did not want to cancel a handful of shows in the US (March 25 to April6)So he did them in a wheelchair with Shona pushing him on stage

The real irony of Ian in a wheelchair was the fact that he had done it before as a joke in 1988. Another irony is the fact this video was in South America. Ian got hurt in South America 8 years later after slipping onstage. March 19, 1996 - Meulle Uno / Lima, PerĂº Ian fell during a jump on a poor-quality stage, badly injuring his knee. Wow, I never knew about this. ......she signs no contract, but she always plays the game.

They started with the intro to "Roots to Branches", Ian was pushed out by Shona. As he sang, I realized he would not be getting up. My heart fell on the floor. This was the scariest moment I ever witnessed at a Tull Concert.

My 12th Tull Concert1997 August 17 / Baltimore, MarylandMy wife went on this ride for her 3rd Tull show ever. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Of course she wanted to see Baltimore too and have a romantic weekend. It was almost 100 degrees that day but a huge Thunderstorm cooled things down. This is a great venue. Holy Jesus! My First ever Set List The numbers and arrows marked are spotlight cues made by the Light Technician. The 2 songs that were marked through are "Skating Away" and "Mother Goose". Neither song was played due to excessive temperatures that day. ;D ;D Thank You Very Much Mr. Martin Brennan - Tull Light Technician! ;D ;D

I attended a show there in 2000 I believe and a huge storm came down that night as well! I saw the Giants play the Ravens that weekend as well. I just don't recall if they were both in the same day.

My 15th Tull Concert1998 October 1 / Charlotte, North CarolinaI won this ticket from Rock 92 radio station after I had bought another ticket for the Raleigh show. When I got to Blockbuster Pavilion in Charlotte, my good friend Paul saw me in the parking lot. Paul had an extra ticket for the Front Row and said come on down. Thanks Paul ! Govt. Mule opened up and Tull kicked ass again. First show of 2 that weekend. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

My 16th Tull Concert1998 October 2 / Raleigh, North CarolinaNow this ticket I did pay for. It was planned that I ride with my friend to the show. He was the designated driver and somehow things got reversed. After the show it was me drivng back and carrying him out of his car into his house about 15 minutes from the Amphitheater. He recovered the next day but I had the most fun. I cranked up Tull videos all night long. Holy Jesus ! Another setlist from the cool guys that run lights and sound! This setlist means just as much as an autograph to most Tull Fans. Awesome.

Usually i always save all my concert tickets... but too bad, at the only Tull concert i've gone to so far, they took the whole damn ticket away at the gates. There are many ASSHOLES who work taking tickets. They spend their lives destroying meaningful Rock n' Roll Treasures. I think their parents never took them to anything when they grew up. They despise seeing others have so much fun at concerts.
