Here's a new game, which I'm naming Pin the Tail on the Tull Song. It's where we post a Tull vid, pinpoint the exact point in the song that pushes us over the edge, and explain why.
The game can also work in reverse, where someone can post a video and then identify the moment that kills the song for them, or what they would have liked better, again explaining why.
I'll start with my "killer" moment from Minstrel, which occurs right before the 6:00 minute mark, with Ian accentuating the words "salaried in course-scrub-i-i-i-i-ng, hey-ey-ey.....", leading into a guitar-drum bridge. That, for some reason, has always been the coolest, most muscular part of the song for me.

probably the most obvious choice The sustained buildup and then @ 2:35 Ian and Martin push us over the edge whether we like it or not.

From 2:30 on for a bit. This, although only available on a boot, has always been a point that pushed APP over the top for me, the video is fragmented so if you have Supercharged from the 73 tour take a better listen. One of my all time favorite parts and one of the reasons I would never miss Tull live.

Darin Cody Quite right Darin. Tull became a Super Group when "Your best friends telephones never cooled from the heat of your hand!"

without a doubt! This when they open things up and let loose. Always loved the extended live parts of the play. This is why I would kill to hear a nice crisp soundboard from this tour!
