Perhaps someone can help me with this. I remember seeing, years ago, pictures of Jethro Tull from what seemed to be the same photoshoot as the picture painted on the front cover of Songs From the Wood. It featured Ian in the same scene as on the cover with the fire, dead birds and all, but was a distinctly different picture.. There were also pictures of the rest of the band in autumnal country scenes... I think Glascock had an Axe rested over his shoulder?
Anyway, does anyone here have these photos, or can tell me where to find them?

Kai
I suspect you are thinking of the photo's from the UK 'Songs from the wood' tour programme
John with Axe, Barrie with wheelbarrow etc...I'll try and dig them out to add to the board and manual

Thanks, Pat! I did a Google search for Tull UK tour songs from the Wood programmers and this came up: www.electrocutas.co.uk/tourbooks/songs77uk/temp.htmSure enough the second result on Google was this very thread, Haha. It would be nice to have them in picture format (most definitely) but don't rush in digging them out all in good time...

Sweet. I would like to post these in the Rhythm in Gold blog one of these days. Giving credit to you guys, and to The Boy Scout Manual of course. These are pictures readers would most definitely be interested in.
